The sound doesn't seem to work for me either so my suggestion is to use the Suppressed addon by v92 because it adds a supressed firing sound to the SMG and it shouldn't conflict with the model.

idk if my mods conflict (it shouldnt really) but the first person smg sounds arent supressed (the hl2 smg1 sound) and if npc used it, it would sound like the csgo mp5sd. any fixes?
