List shows base damage - critscale with level - dmg multiplier for strength - AP cost
Normal machete ---- 16dmg - 10%scale - STRx1.5 - 4AP
Pierre machete ------ 16dmg - 30%scale - STRx1.5 - 3AP
Sharp machete ------ 24dmg - 10%scale - STRx1.5 - 4AP
TheThing ------------- 18dmg - 30%scale - STRx2 -- 4AP
Esp the high crit scale with level and the low AP cost make it deadly. You need to level him up tho to really notice it I guess.

An idea, though it might be quite difficult, is to do something about Tex's revolvers. Making them moddable would be ideal.
