I know, I wasn't saying you should try to change the balance, I was just saying that it wouldn't matter even if it became a little more unbalanced from the changes I proposed

Im not planning to make anything with balance. My opinion that if you want to make map balanced - the only and right way is to make it symmetric. Also first plans was to keep original geometry without any big changes. If i will change it - this map become to different map, and its not that easy to balance it. Its much easy to make it worse haha.

Ah okay, I don't know about the limitations of that sort of stuff . And I meant you could have lights such as the spotlights from ancient or other random things that are different from the ones on the ceiling. I was saying it doesn't matter really if the lighting changes I proposed would affect balancing since the layout of Office to begin with isn't balanced at all (not your fault, just how the map is).

mykingjr, this all kinda cool with engine supports only 4 lights with direct shadows in 1 place. It's hard to place it correctly so shadows won't disappear. Also its will take a big performance impact.
And to make shadows looks fine, it need to be baked, without it this will look a bit cartoony.
Some lights that can be broken and some that cant its... kinda not realistic.
And whats wrong with balance?

And maybe there could be some other lights set up that can't be shot out

I know this could mess with stuff like balancing pretty badly (although it's office so I mean do you expect it to be balanced?) but I think it would be really cool if the lights turned off when you shot out the glass
