great mod, but im experiencing some... things... for example, some provinces in the new world dont belong to any colonial regions or there is two colonial regions for one. for example, one province belongs to colonial colombia and the other one belongs to.. colonial colombia but its not the same. also some provinces in east america belongs to louisiana for some reason? PLEASE FIX THIS I NEED THIS MOD TO BREATHE. with love and benedictions.

There's a bug that eliminates the later British missions, you should fix it as Britain is a big colonizer nation

It would be cool to add China, Siberia, Japan, Korea, Arabia, the Middle East (Iraq, Iran, Syria, etc.) and North Africa.

Weird bug here: The later english missions are not showing with this mod enabled.
Its the only mod i use as well.

I actually yelled at the wiki quite a bit for showing me "wrong" information before i figured out it was the mod causing it :D

Unfortunately not, the game doesn't allow colonial regions to be established on the same continent as your capital, so for an Asian country to make a colony in an Asian colonial region is not possible in this mod

by the way, i'm wondering that if i'm asia country i can not make colony in indonesia and philippines.
because it is hard for controlling the provinces since neither trade company nor colony can not be built

and a few conflicts between colonies. but no crashes. so hopefully a compatch can be made.

Hello mate, i have created a similar mod for my own use a few months ago. I realized recently that it breaks at least english and venitian mission tree, like people here said. I just figured a way to keep the missions tree intact without modding thre missions file, you need to keep the trade company alive. The problem is that the trade company map takes over the colonial nation map, so i let 1 province in each TC and it works well. You can still also let this province in the colonial nation. The only problem is because TC map takes over CN map you will see the 1 province, but if you change the TC color to match the CN map color, there is no problem anymore.
It's a really DIY fix but i can't find other way without making it incompatible with mods changing missions tree.

The mod only changes colonial regions and trade companies. So no, the mod should not change west african provinces into tiny ports

This mod is supposed to be extremely simple, and is not entirely meant to add decisions or change mission trees as it can cause incompatibility with other mods. If I had to guess, there's probably ways to fix such incompatibilities. But I don't have enough experience with EU4 modding to know how to, and I don't have time to spend to learn. Though feel free to post a version of the mod with a fixed venetian tree if you find out how to do so.

The mod is not planned to be translated into Spanish. Though you may use the mod as a template to post your own translated version of the mod

I have noticed this mod breaks the mission tree for at least England/GB by removing the bottom most branch of missions starting with a House divided as well as all Australia based bonuses and mission not sure if this mod is affecting other mission trees as well though. Pretty major for GB as that soft locks them out of man of wars and early industrialisation.

Parts of the map are based on trade node borders, which is why the Indochina colonial region doesn't go up into Vietnam.

Pinenuts, it is all okay. When a war is declared on your colony, enforce peace on the attacker. They either surrender or you get called into the war.

I would assume it's because a country within a colonial region is attacking another country which is in a colonial region. The base game Australia colony (which I haven't personally changed) probably functions the same way as American colonies in the base game, The mechanism probably just had no noticeable effect for Australia as the countries attacking Australia had their capitals outside of a colonial region.

For some reason playing as an East Asian country (Japan, Manchuria, Korea) and colonizing Australia won't call player to war upon player's colony. I mean, when my Australia colony gets declared war by another Hindu or South-East Asia countries, I don't get dragged to the war and the colony just ends up giving their lands to invaders.

It did not happen quite a long version ago, and I am not sure if this mod is causing the issue, but if so I guess the mechanism seems to follow the code for war of "American new world colonies - American native countries."

Do we need to have LoXyO's version installed alongside this? When I only have this one installed the game crashes. It only works when both are installed.

I'm not currently planning on adding a colonial region for Arabia or Persia as I've heard that it messes up with the Ottomans Eyalets and otherwise core territories due to it's capital being in Europe. Though at some point I'll probably do something with Pacific Charter and possibly China, Korea and Japan.

India is already planned to be split in the next update, the current India is based on LoXyO's India, and I haven't had time to work on it yet, though don't worry it should be soon!
