I haven't been working on the gargantua recently. I've made some progress on the snark and gonarch though.

Hey, come back to a old comment, do you still trying make a version of the gargantua? I think you can just make the BM's gargantua skin lighter, it can be a good attempt while you're doing the real model

The gargantua is the hardest one I've tried to make so far. I don't know why, but I just can't seem to get it right. I hope I can finish it eventually.

The animation where a tentacle grabs the scientist doesn't fit this model's arms.

It's good work, but i have give you some honest feedback.
I will not use it the way it is now, it needs a retouch, it's too bright, solid & cartoon'ish.
The original one is better looking right now.
I saw Operation Black Mesa mod made one that could be of good inspiration if you'd like.

Love the sharpness of the beak again, but I feel the texture is too flat and cartoonish, solid model overall

Cool. But compared to the HL1 version, i think it needs a bit more detail on the textures, just to make it look a little bit more grimy or grungy and not so brightly cartoon'ish.
