Regarding discharge issue - I think I know the rootcause. If you send a signal to delay component and dock - signal will NOT get to the next round. Sometimes it breaks logic of components. I have faced that in some of my ships...
If circuts are not locked - it can be fixed in game easily...

I can't get my items that were delivered on the sub. Fix issue

I hosted a PvP server with this sub and it worked suprisingly well, but none of us knew how to detonate the Turtle. Excellent job btw

I have started new campaign, but i think the issue was that if you discharge and dock at the same time it saves the state on the load. Activating discharge again gained nothing. Still a great sub, planning to complete the game with my friend!

I never had such issue before. Have you tried discharging again? Maybe some component values saved incorrectly.

Skill issue xd. Jokes aside, it's probably because RV has only one layer of walls and it's kinda thin. Most of the creatures are way bigger than this sub and their force give more momentum. You can try to add some hull at the bottom, decreasing size of the ballast tank. But I'm not sure if this will work out. It's rather a silly sub, made to have some laughs. Not entirely suitable for a normal playthrough.

my character keep clipping through the hull easily when getting ragdoll by the creature and quite often too

There is a hidden docking hatch at the frontal air conditioner on the top of RV. There's also a ladder, if you struggle to find it. Despite being hidden, it still works.
