Why is half the interior purple?

The console mod is kolt command consoles and the thrusters are Titan engines

vVery nice doors, the hangar bays fit nicely with the fighters I use. It has a bit of a rounded nose though, which is not my style. I've still subscribed.

I belive that the engine you are looking for are the Titan Engines. Don't know about the consoles though.

There are two mods on this that appear to no longer be available on the workshop, when I removed them from the world file a lot of the interior wall and computer console textures are gone. So idk.

@Darkmask you can convert it to a flyable ship easily, I made it as a station because when this ship was designed, there was no ship to ship pasting. Constructing on a grid meant easer construction.

This is...outstanding. I missed it the first time around because it just didn't look like my cup of tea and most large ships turn out to be rather boring. Then I saw the video walk through. Very impressive use of tech, and very well thought out. Even without the one of a kind blast doors this ship really stands out.

I updated the file before, I have no idea why it would suddenly stop working. If you had it before the last update, make sure that you remove it and then redownload it by resubscribing. If this issue keeps happening, ill try to get it fixed this week.

@Clark Antollare - The ship was built as a station, all you need to do is go into the console and hit "convert to ship"

But a hanger is something you use when you put your shirt in your closet, your ships or aircraft gets parked in a hangar.

No offense intended - this is just one of my pet pieves. I'm not even a native englishman myself, so I should really just shut up :/

Idea: You have all these cockpits/consoles not doing anything. Stick a camera and a remote control unit onto the fighters, have the fighters remote controlled from the C&C centre. Your super carrier will be able to sit just out of range, attack enemy ships and fend off attackers without any of your own people in line of fire.

I don't know about you but I know they arn't the largest most complex, however they do look cool, and the interior is very fleshed out.

In the control room I recall that the 2 front consoles have different layouts for the action groups. The one of the port side has the better actions I found.

Opening them is easy, there is a group created in the control panel labeled "Open doors" something to that effect. Hit it, and they will open. Closing them though is harder, but not truly that difficult. The timing block has just come out, so I may go in and fix it with the timer block so they close every time.

I'm haveing the same problem the doors tear the ship apart when i try to open them. I love the look of the ship and your door ideas however. I have been working on a large carrier myself and came here for some hanger door insperation. Keep up the good work.

Can you give more details as to how the hangar door works? I did phase 1, waited for it to finish, and phase 2 started ripping apart the side of the hull.

@ Marakuze Really? thats strange, I just had it working. It may be that some of the models need to be updated for the newest patch.
