The duck painting is actually just a screengrab from a Pine dev stream a couple years back, and I
just threw a couple filters over it in Photoshop. It was a bit of an inside joke for the contest that I made the room for.
After watching a few streams I've seen others struggle with this as well. I'll try to think up some better solutions and implement them at some point
Whoops! I'll sort that out in the next update haha
You're entirely right, my parents were both math professors and would be entirely disappointed in me. I'll go back and correct that, thanks very much for the note.
I'm currently working on an expanded version of the room where the private area/bedroom should be accessible, along with some additional puzzles.
Thanks much again, and glad you enjoyed the room otherwise.
I've pushed some recent updates intended to improve the clarity of some hints, as well as adding a couple additional ones to improve the flow of the room without making solutions overly obvious. As always appreciate any feedback so I can continue to improve on things. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks again for making your locks publically available, and I apologize for not adding them to the Attributions yet. I only half completed the list before taking off on holiday but will complete things when I get back. I understand about the reading. The book was a recent addition so people could make more sense of the puzzle, but am still feeling it out.
@zdaw2011
Not currently, just wanted to add something for all the token hunters. Maybe I could eventually add some type of prize / event that occurs when all 10 are collected.
Thank you for using my word lock!! What a lovely surprise. <3
I missed your comment earlier, but thanks very much and glad you enjoyed it!
If you press 'H' in game it should bring up the walkthrough for all active puzzles. But for that one, be sure to check out the blue book on the shelf along the concrete wall. And pay particular attention to the last paragraph of the first page of Chapter 6. For the tealights, are you having trouble with the word lock to get them out, or using them with the thermometers?
Glad you enjoyed it! Well done with the tokens, there are a couple I might've hid a little too well haha
I had a wonderful time exploring and solving. Thank you so much for creating and sharing. The room really felt cozy and I actually did not want to leave. :) I looked everywhere for the 10th token but could never find it. Congrats!
Ah right, thanks for reminding me to get the domain haha. I'll do something with it eventually
There was much more planned, but I had to make quite a few concessions and wrap things up quickly before the contest deadline :\ I'm hoping to release an "extended" edition of the room when I have some downtime after the holiday.
