Yes, I intend to tailor the existing campaign battle results as related so that each battle a player wins modifies the AI resources and maximum vehicle cap. This will be complemented by veterancy adjustments that improve unit performance metrics such as rate of fire, weapon accuracy, and reload time.

Do you intend to use the huge army general map found in the campaign "Highway 66"? I was bit disappointed that each campaign were completely detached from one another, meaning that player's performance don't actually matter and the "plot" follows strictly a set script. Will this mod overcome that so I can fight from day 1 to capture Frankfurt as USSR?

if you have gotten the modification running on an earlier build of the beta. You should see the changes reflected in your operations unit options if from the operations menu mission selections list.

The Kitzingen Ruse operations show-casing the VDV (Vozdushno-Desantnye Voyska, or Soviet Airborne Forces) has been modified, players can form a VDV Mechanized (IFV) Infantry company, supported by a VDV Helicopter deployed Air Assault Infantry company, with helicopter support.

Completed the Redesign of the Black Horse's Last Stand operations scenario to permit the formation of an Armored Calvary Reconnaissance Troop, 1-11 ACR, of the 11th Armored Calvary Regiment composed of 8 M1A1 Abrams (ACAV) tanks including (1) HQ tanks, as well as a mechanized infantry company, with two M1025 TOW HMWVV. The Calvary Mechanized Scout Platoon is also equipped for anti-tank warfare, armed with M72 LAW rocket launchers.

At the time of Desert Storm (1990-91) a regiment (Type 57) had 57 tanks and 670 personnel. A variant was the Type 43 with 43 tanks. (At least initially, the Type 57 had Chieftain tanks and the Type 43 the newer Challenger 1.

2 The nominal increase in tank strength would have added 32 personnel. However, as noted, the peacetime establishment of 30 is even below the strength of the former Type 38 regiment.

3 Conversion to Challenger 1 began 1983-84, with one brigade at a time in BAOR converting. Five regiments converted by 1989; the other five kept Chieftains until the consolidations in 1992-93, and the last regiment in the UK converted 1993-94. By that point, of course, Options had reduced the number of RAC and Household Cavalry regiments.

Those ranges are the maximum ranges for indirect high explosive projectile, in the fulda gap tank guns have differences between effective ap penetration range and high explosive range. However, I will review the Abrams ranges t make sure that the ap and he ranges are accurate as possible, thank you for bringing that issue to my attention.

hello! i have a question, why is the t series tank cannon range 3560m? and why is the abrams cannon range only 2275m? it seems that this needs some balancing as a tank on tank fight will be very unfair to the us players. :steamthumbsup:

A bit more details on the decks that are available? As I can see, not all planes, for example, have their weaponds adjusted to the new balance.

ok I'm saying in general the pace will be slower right? are you also planning to add animation to the soldiers? like for example the snipers to shoot from lying down like in real life, and the rain to increase it like in reality? however the map editor is confirmed which could really do interesting things

@DDR Thank you for comment, I have reworked vehicle movement and weapon ranges as well and tweaked the unit autonomy mechanics to allow units to mutually support each other when they encounter enemies that meet the criteria of acceptable targeting parameters

• All vehicle moving off-road at combat speed is roughly 50-60% of maximum road speed.

• All units use cross country speed which is a reduced speed that is approximate to between 45%-50% of maximum road speed.

thanks for your work but what about the speed and rhythm of the game because vanilla is unplayable too fast, while in real life and especially in 1989 it is much slower, on the other hand the session should be facilitated tactics, but with the speed of the vanilla version it is impossible, I don't even have time to organize my troops and the enemies come out immediately, as they should instead be identified after careful reconnaissance
