I don't understand how to use this mod. Usually right clicking allows me to chose material. How i'm supposed to build items if i can't choose material because this mod overrides it?

Yay! I'm so happy this is updated I had just started playing again not 2 weeks before the 1.6 update and was having fun with some mods that added a pile of build-ables so this mod was a screen saver. And now I have it back!!! Thank you!

@Tommy if you're still keen I've written up a ticket on the annoying ability issue and released as is. I don't think it's too hard, it's just going to be a fair amount of faff so I'm leaving it for now to crack on with the rest

the 1.5 version mostly works yes but there's issues in the settings menu and compatibility issues with some of the VE mods I'm trying to sort out. Hopefully done tomorrow.

could I request the ability to save and load profiles the same way you can save and load ideologies etc? So you can easily swap between different sets of hidden buildables for different modlists or playthroughs.

It might look a bit overwhelming but there is an architect button on the main menu of the mod
there you can do anything from reordering and cleaning buildings and orders (adding or removing/moving them to another category) to hiding whole categories and even adding buildings your not supposed to build (soil/flatscreen)
You could even remove the architect button entirely if you use mints menu and like the "right click anywhere to open architect" option

Could you also make designators like "Claim" or "Smooth surface" hid-able ?
RIMMsqol and Cherry picker both failed at removing DesignationDefs from V.E. Framework.
The ones I'm thinking about are all of the different pipe removers : they all are made redundant by the "Select similar" designator, in my humble opinion.

In theory yes but in practice I don’t think it’s worth it? There’s already a mod which allows you to reconfigure workbenches, adding and removing recipes as you like so this would just be a clone with less features I think. Unfortunately I don’t know the name of that mod myself but I know it exists.

Afraid not, un-hiding should stick though, make sure you click the close button as that's where the save hook is

Is there a way to make this save specific? Anything I hide remains hidden for every save. If I unhide something, it's only temporary and is hidden again when I reload.

I'd love to be able to hide things for one playthrough and not another. It's helpful for getting rid of old teach clutter.

Buttons all look good to me, steam probably just hasn't updated for you; unsub-resub usually makes it sit up and notice updates. Log link doesn't work, best way to send error reports and logs, screenshots etc is on the linked github

Turns out I can't read and missed the comment below mine where you explained the translation issues, lol. My bad.

The update did not fix the logging, and the fact there's no logging built into the function leads me to think I've got something else going on that's literally just... *logging*. Which uhhh...

Ifn you've got any idea (see below link to log message), I'd be mighty thankful, but if not, c'est la vie.
