would be cooler if this didn't disable the concentrated welding fuel. Also, this should restore the EK welding tools that the main mod disables if you have EK enabled (at least i think that's the mod that is disabling them)

Niche ask that'll likely get hit with a "Too many patches to maintain" (understandably so), but;
What about a patch that only reverts the welding tool, but keeps the other functions, making eye drops and masks still useful.

@SolsticeOfTheWinter: Oh right, thank you! They're only getting disabled by this patch, not removed. This is to allow still using them up in case you crafted/bought some before installing the patch and someone is still suffering from the affliction.
The patch just removes the crafting and store entries so it can't be obtained. It was also supposed to be hidden in the sub-editor, but seems like I forgot about that. Will also be fixed :steamthumbsup:

Quick heads up, the welding eye drops are looking for their texture file in the old texture spot (Content/Items/Medical/Eyedrops.png) instead of the new IR-Atlas and have no texture. Also, aren't they supposed to be removed?

@Chuckles the socipath: To disable the new welding items from Immersive Repairs and revert back to vanilla welding tool for those who like the rest of the mod, but dislike the welding changes made by it.

@Yoghurt_Daddy: That is odd. This patch just reimplements the exact same code as the vanilla item uses to revert it back to that state. I'll check on the weekend if I can replicate the issue :steamthumbsup:

@Punisher: Thanks for the clarification. I assume the items keep their previous stats they were originally created with and thus still cause these afflictions and don't weld like vanilla. Scrapping them and crafting a fresh welding tool should fix that issue.
The other items are intentionally not automatically removed from existence to allow you to deconstruct them as to not lose out on some resources you may have invested in them.

The base welder still causes blindness and does not repair the structure (but appears as a vanilla welder), the rest of the welders also cause blindness if you do not have the mask, the objects that should be deactivated are still in my inventory

@IceRoadTrucking: Sorry for coming back to you so late. I think by now someone else made a patch if I'm not mistaken.

@Punisher: Did you make sure the load order is correct? (Patch goes above the original mod)
And what exactly isn't working correctly so I can figure out what and how to fix it?

concentrated fuel tanks and their refill station seem pointless as you can't use them for vanilla welders

@oktopus: I mean all the features are written on the main mod page which obviously should be visited and read first. This patch explicitly states that it only removes the welding changes from the main mod so I don't really see a point of listing all the main mod's features here as well.

@oktopus: This patch is for those who like the other changes of the mod, but don't like the welding changes. Things like turrets breaking, junction boxes shortcircuiting or starting fires, reactor repair failures causing a dangerous situation if the reactor was on, vent blades being a thing, etc. are still in and will need to be taken care of. The original mod is not just about welding :steamthumbsup:
