It's just a sound option and besides. It does not diverge too much from KF2.

It'd be a small option you can tick in a menu. Nothing too crazy.

while I do somewhat agree, this addon is going for accuracy to kf2. changing that would be defeating the point.

I wonder if you could add a setting for the Automatic KF2 weapons from here & forward to have them use the single shot sounds for automatic fire? I think they're personally punchier than the loops are.

I played this add-on's weapon to the NPC and ran an HL2 campaign.
If I'm holding this add-on's gun when multiple enemies appear at once, I'm having trouble hearing my gun.
I think there's a set maximum for this add-on to be heard at the same time, can you fix this?

And I'm using a translator, so I'm sorry that the writing can be weird

I do not know. unfortunately the team encountered some issues we don't know how to fix and we've lost motivation to continue for the time being. sometime we'll get back to work though I hope

You cannot expect a absolutely perfect gunplay in gmod because none of the gunplay is perfect in any game you can name.

This is a great mod that was destroyed by sound files. When fully automatic firing dies, the gunshot continues, and all submachine guns cannot match the bullet time. The gunshot does not slow down but repeats like a cartridge. The sound effect of a single bullet fired by UMP is three consecutive shots, resulting in an extremely strange feel when firing. I have never encountered such a strange gunshot sound effect before. I wonder if the author can optimize this issue?

It's the SWAT Knife. It's currently being worked on, but as of right now there's no ETA on when it releases.
We gotta lay down a foundation for melee weapons, so it might be a bit.

If you haven't already, restart Garry's Mod.
Line 1587 of lua/weapons/tfa_gun_base/shared.lua doesn't have "TriggerAttack", which means it's still the outdated upload.

If you're still having problems, try verifying your game cache.
If that still doesn't work, look in your console for any potential warnings.
In that case, do this in console and send me the result:
lua_run print(TFA_BASE_VERSION, TFA_FILE_PATH)

I usually use that base since it has both of the attachment packs wrapped up in a neat bundle, plus it makes all the weapons I've seen before work, but I get Your message.

that is a reupload made after the original TFA base upload was deleted mid last year, and does not include all the latest features necessary for this pack.
the only version of TFA base you should have for this is the official (re)upload by YuRaNnNzZZ, as that is maintained and has features added in that are required for these SWEPs to work properly.

@Jayplod it'd be more effort than its worth to do something like "Killing Floor 2 - SWAT HRG Weapons". also, the way we're doing this is by each weapon's main perk (for example, the mac 10 is used by swat but its main perk is firebug, so that'll be included in the firebug pack)

Out of curiosity, wouldn't be better to do the HRG weapons as a separate pack? I'd imagine it'd save a lot of fuckery for those weapons that is actually a different class's weapon (The SWAT LMG for example)

This addon is simply awesome! Thank you guys, I'm happy to use it in my realism builds, but I have one question: will there be melee weapons? Like mushroomguy? :)
