Called " InGameMaps [Lost Province] "

I absolutely adore PEI. Sadly RV interior doesn't work as well as mini-map :(

Still, thank you very-very much for the mod. I loved a little walk around this piece of land.

P.S. I see that you can fix RV interiors (pinned discussion) yet sadly, i feel bad without map

It’s currently B41 only. I do plan on updating the map once B42 is further along, and the mapping tools are released

hi guys .....can any1 tell me if there is a military base on this map ? we have the "82 oshkosh M911" mod running on our server and its military trucks and wondering where that would spawn ??

The map is too hot and temperature settings don't seem to work. Any advice for this? I even installed a cryogenic winter mod and temperatures are up to 35 celsius.

alright, I gave it a try, and honestly the terraining is good, however, settlements & such honestly are lacking quite a bit of finer detail and look a little bland. The map also doesn't have any buildings and the zombie spawn locations are a little bit weird with groups seemingly spawning everywhere (whether it be in a town or in the middle of nowhere). There's a lot of potential here, it's just lacking in effort.

i really want this to work again, i quite like the idea of a canadian island during the events of PZ.
its an okay map i suppose, definietly needs some improvement but its okay! :D

Of the most important thing I would like to note the distribution of zombies, which just looks unrealistic, with zombies located in fields and forests in the middle of nowhere standing in huge groups. Also many houses with stairs leading to nowhere. Another thing that would be nice to see is some history prints of events that happened during the distribution of Knox Infection in province. For example, an army roadblock near the checkpoint and on the confederation bridge with a really large number of cars and zombies stuck in traffic (the roadblock from the game "Unturned" as an example). In general, the map is great, but we would like more micromoments like crashed helicopters, airplanes left in airports, blocked roads, military camps, field hospitals, quarantine zones, closed airports, destroyed/blocked by an army parts of cities etc. Personally, I lack such for full immersion in the map. Really enjoyed your map, hope on to see it in build 42 with improvements and new mechanics!

@nicouuuuuu Yup, I'll be updating the map for B42 once the mapping tools are released, and I figure out how to add the new features like animal pathing, and some basements

Common error is not disabling vanilla map which messes with zones. However, if foraging works when you enter that mode in game, then zones are correct and cars will spawn, just a matter of RNG. Parking lots can RNG no cars. You can tune the spawn rate to your taste in settings. Hardcoded default rates are on lower side

how to fix the problem with the cars, they just won't spawn, I teleported in debug mode to a large parking lot, I didn't find any cars, the KI5 and W900 Semi-truck collection is included from the mods for cars, car spawn is enabled

so what is the ultimate way to enable RV on this map? I see that in the thread people write differently, one works like this, the other works like this and I don't know how to properly connect this mod with the map on SP

If someone have problem with map submod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3142065914&searchtext=lost+province . I tried with different mod orders, but I still didn't have GPS in the game. So I did something like this and it works fully.
1. In game only apply Lost Province mod.
2. Find folder 3142065914 and 3121920070 in C:\ProgramFiles\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\
3. In mod folder 3142065914 go to \mods\InGameMap_Lost_Province\media\maps\LostProvince_map
4. Copy all files
5. In mod folder 3121920070 go to \mods\Lost Province\media\maps\Prince Edward Island
6. Paste and press replace files
7. Doesnt apply InGameMaps [Lost Province] mod. Because you just use files from this mod

I am really enjoying experiencing being new to a map and trying to figure out where to go. I don't overly mind that you don't want maps. However, it would be ideal if there were at least paper maps in the game. The picture of the island does not really help as there are no real discernible roads to help you orient. I'm a 90s kid and while we did not have GPS, we did have those big paper maps to help us get around. That would be really neat to have for someone who has never been to Canada.

Ya'll are fucking jaded.

Copy-paste buildings are in PZ. Houses in Rosewood are seen in Westpoint and LV.
Cities have no flavor because... It's Canada. It's as simple as it gets.
How the fuck do you tell AI to generate a zombie heatmap, terrain, roads and towns?
And I actually like the concept of exploring the place and making notes, than having help.

Heck, some of ya'll that complain about this being AI shit have NO FUCKING HOURS IN THE GAME. So shut the fuck up, and enjoy a good fucking map that is huge.

idk how this map has 5 stars. It's honestly complete cheeks and definitely looks AI generated. I TP'd to all the city centers to confirm my suspicions and nearly all the buildings are copy/paste of each other.

there's no flavor to any of the cities, there's no signs on any of the buildings, etc. No cool POI's at all. Complete trash to be honest.
