@Carrotpudding This error doesn't strictly cause crashes, but it causes constant exceptions to be logged, which in turn causes a lot of lag. It's not related to the Watcher DLC, it is specifically an issue with the connections in the world file.

thats weird it worked perfectly without crashing before, maybie its an incompatibilty with the watcher DLC?

Hi, this region seems to be broken. OA_A03 has an erroneous connection to OA_A05, and OA_A71 has an erroneous connection to OA_C29. Since A05 and C29 don't have enough room entrances to return the connection, this breaks things badly.

cool region with some nice level design, but some really awful creature spawns as well as just generally way too many hostile creatures. At one point a leviathan got stuck in a room it barely even fit into, physically blocking the path forward with no (reasonable) way around it.
The grapple worm platforming sections are very fun though (despite the many deaths from near unavoidable cyan lizards)

Way too many spawns in my opinion. I know it is supposed to be hard region but flooding it with so many enemies is just unfun. Also the game freezez in shelters often forcing you to quit and retry last cycle which is extremely annoying

thats weird, i made sure that would work and got it working buth on spearmaster and arti, are you sure there might not be some other mod thats causing issues

causes Waterfront Facility to soft crash on load; exception log throws a massive 'IndexOutOfRangeException', and Warp Menu gives the message to check room connections. found as Spearmaster, but may also be broken for Arti. gorgeous region... but this is a pretty glaring bug

'CustomRegion' is literally in this workshop mod's name,
but the author should consider adding the 'Regions' tag as well,
for more browsing visibility.

i'd suggest a rename to the region tbh
aqueducts are usually underground or carved into the ground like ditches, and are never towering structures

One of the hardest regions I've experienced (I played on Hunter ).
I died 103 time playing this mod and used the dev tools twice (once for the hell tunnel and the second time in the other vertical hell tunnel).

The level design is correct with bubble algea whenever necessary and little drawings that show you where some of the shelters are; However I there is a LOT of water and it can get frustrating easily with almost invisible water lizards and very tight timings necessary to not drown in some places like the hell tunnel.
For those who don't know the big hellish underwater tunnel is like that one tunnel in the sewers that new players hate but with demon plants and jetfishes (and is a LOT longer(4-5 screens)).

The visuals are pretty good with nice area variety (also the music in the green part is a banger).
It really looks like you spent a lot of time on this and the region is overall pretty nice with some replayability seeing the sheer size of this region. For your next region I'd suggest maybe going a bit more easy on the water challenges ( more oxygen rooms less underwater lizards ) to make it maybe more like submerged superstructure and less like kaizo Rainworld so that the player may be more in that "flow" state and less frustrated. Hope your next endeavours are as good or even better.

TLDR : Good and large region that but VERY hard and I'd say only for the most experienced players*, jump in if you dare you may have a good time or be scarred forever.


*( at least on hunter, on other slugcats like Rivulet it might be easier or not seeing the very limited amount of shelters throughout the region )

Ah yes, now i remember why this is hell. There is almost no shelters and it's overcrowded with lizards, and it has some of the worst challenges such as long swimming and grapple worm swinging. If at least it had more shelters, i could at least enjoy and not speedrun this region because of the rain. But i still rated it high, because l like the aesthetics.

the aesthetics of going through the underbelly of shoreline and sky island carry it, although finding the shoreline gate can feel like finding a needle in a haystack and the underwater parts frankly suck. :steamhappy:/10

i have a question about this mod, does stormy coast mess up the gate room or make the area inaccessable? im wondering this since from what ive seen of this region(mostly from lolight's video), the gate appears to be close to that of stormy coasts gate, if not in the same spot.

i didnt want to put this in the description but i wanted to say that the region is probably also pretty fun as artificer, if a bit easier, since the region was made before 1.9 it was not balanced for any of the new slugcats added in downpour, but is still playable as them (all but saint:rwslugcat:)
