"just go to the game property and change the version to 1.14" - there is no version "1.14" as off 06/07/2025. I tried version "1.1" and it worked. Good mod!

I had the same problems with crashes when you get to the mapchange, trying "map ap2" in console didnt work either, but if you change the Beta on EZ2 to 1.14 the map will load without any problems

@Gordon Freeman I was experiencing the same issue and figured out that when any combine soldier dies, the game crashes. When I deleted the "Excalibur 1-6" Mod from the workshop, the problem seems to be resolved. So maybe check if you have that mod installed

@danskart The update seems to have messed up a bunch of stuff, I'm even getting crashes in the base game, specifically when I replay the security footage in the control room for the warehouse-to-lab airlock at the beginning of Contact Aberration

just go to the console and type "map ap2"
ik its a stupid solution but i dont know how i can fix it

So I'm not the only one dealing with crashes, apparently. My guess is that the new EZ2 update messed up some stuff, though I unfortunately don't know what.

Definitely not a couple of months late, but the section where the broken textures are that let you see through the map is just after you escape the Gonome in that zombie running section. If you look through the white glowing panels in the wall you can see through the map at certain angles.

Well, I aint no programer but... maybe something with the script that the game refuses to do. What about the new enemy types? perhaps the AI requires something
When you load into the next map is there some glowing like the enemies? Perhaps a bit too much glow?

I think I broke the game cause after a certain point all the ai broke and I'm stuck at the part with the shipping container that you can slam into the ground.
