ok, did it again and it apparently leaves the charge projectile in place when charged from inventory that time that was endlessly firing from that spot

Tmodloader's latest update seems to have affected some things. I can at least pinpoint that the Incineration Cannon has lost its ability to fire charge shots and now just rapidly fires the normal shot. Hope all the bugs that have accumulated since this mod's last update can be fixed.

I'm also curious about how you made the all the projectiles not be deflected by Expert mode Mimics and Selenians. Do you know the coding for that? Because it would be useful for other modders who are trying to figure it out.

Can there be accessories or items for energy shields? The calamity sponge shield keeps glowing even when I turn the visibility off. I know another mod that provides the an open source code for it if you need help with it.

Also Battle Rifles. Gonna want those some day.

Cool. But yes I'm asking for too much, one priority at a time till we get there.

Halo gets the love for now. For bullets I also suggest, some UNSC bullet(s) for other Terraria guns. Maybe even a fix to standardize the UNSC guns having different bullet graphics despite all using the musket balls.

Despite so many flaws in Halo 5's multiplayer and story, it does offer plenty of unique ideas for weapon variants and ideas for ammo types, like needler, covenant carbine rounds, Halo version of explosive rounds, plasma, and maybe even bullets that mimic Kinetic Bolts (Photon cell bullets) that I mentioned before. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yd0MRvLqDIQ Maybe this will help with ideas too.

Also if you want. Are you interested in Mass Effect or other game's weapons too? I suggest only doing that when you are confident or developed enough of your Halo mod. I just wanted to think about other weapon mod ideas that I haven't seen in the workshop yet.

Thank you so much for the patience and understanding. You seem like a good, kind person which is much needed in this day and age when so many people are losing touch with their empathy.

I wish you the best with over coming the bugs that you are struggling with and me and others will try to find information on troubleshooting if we do find it.

Speaking of which a lot of the weapons as I said before are TOO detailed or too big which is not bad but it clashes with Terraria's style, but then again it does emphasize that they come from Halo, maybe a rework of Sprites or a configuration to switch between current and Terraria-like Sprites. A lot of bigger weapons like the needle rifle still feel like cannons and don't look like they're being held by the player's shoulder.

I've been wondering this for some time as a lot of plasma weapons still feel weak. Will there be a configuration to make Halo weapons "Lore accurate" or a joke configuration to buff the weapons like "Legendary mode" will make them more lethal? That being said. I'm hoping for the storm rifle and the Halo 5 multiplayer special weapons once everything is all worked out.

Sorry for all these annoying comments, Halo was great and I've been nostalgic. Commenting and asking for more things from modders is like me being a kid again asking my parents to buy me toys. That being said, sorry if that behavior has put pressure on you. I want you to take your time and care for yourself as well.

Cool. Good to see there's updates and development. The spiker does need more love. It's also definitely too inaccurate and not gravity affected compared to how it was in Halo though that could also make sense for Terraria's balancing.

Also I hope for there to be Banished and Halo Infinite versions of the Spiker and other weapons. Shimmered versions may also be useful. Maybe I'm just waiting for better versions of the assault rifle or alternatives to the heavy machinegun cause it looks too heavy for my character. I just want to also point out a lot of the projectiles are NOT deflected by the mimics and selenians, not that I'm complaining but just wanted to share the info and ask if that's intentional.

Whatever happens, keep up the good work and I'm happy for you.

Also I feel that many guns need a percent chance to not consume ammo and many pistols and plasma guns feel too weak. You may want to also check the sell prices of the items, I kind of like that they are super cheap to sell. Makes the Terraria gun community thrive in Journey mode sales. I always enjoy selling the cheapest guns. Just letting you know so you can decide.

Hi sorry for so many annoying comments. I just wanted to help all the mods I like as best as I can. I did some more testing and I wanted to say that many of the UNSC bullet weapons leave much to be desired. I feel like the many guns like the assault rifles either need a buff, more upgrades or alternative versions or ones that can work in Post-Moonlord like the MA5D, MA40 or the unique Halo 5 variants.

It's realistic that the bullets come out at the end of the guns, but it allows enemies to go past the guns and attack the player. You can either change it or keep it. I just wanted to point that out.

I also hope there can be more grenades and some Halo bullets or accessories for vanilla weapons like the Kinetic Bolts from Halo 5.

Oh and one more thing I forgot. The fuel rods can sometimes go through blocks before they "ignite" when they are launched through thin enough block walls at the correct distance.
Not necessarily a bad thing, you can keep that happy accident as a feature if you like.

Sorry. My mistake. I stand corrected. What I meant to say was that the Halo 3 MA5C's bullet impact seems more sparkly or have the dusts and sparks spreading out larger than all the other bullet impacts from the rest of the UNSC weapons. Also the Smart Scope Shotgun's impacts don't leave effects at all.

I notice that the Halo 3 Assault Rifle's bullets have a different impact effect when it hits anything. Most likely the same dust/impact effect as the Light Rifle's bullet. Speaking of which. I feel as if the Light rifle's impact effect when it hits enemies is slightly off center as if it's slightly lower than where it hit the enemy. The less intense impact effect when it hits blocks seems okay though.

I feel also as if the Fuel Rod guns especially the late game ones might need to do more damage to keep up with the Rocket Launchers or we may need an Endgame version of all the other weapons too.

I hope there can be more versions of the Halo Rifle because sometimes I feel like using the Reach version but it's not able to keep up with Terraria's progression.

Also another nitpick. I feel like some of the weapons are not gripped properly or are off center in a way. The Halo Reach version of the Assault Rifle is one example. I wish you the best in your finals and your success onwards.

Yeah I made it so that it only overrides rocket 1s just in case people wanted to use the others, I'll take a look at all these bugs soon, may be slow though cause finals are this week

One more thing. I almost forgot. The smoke trails of the default rockets of the Reach M41 SPNKr look slightly misaligned and I noticed using anything other than basic rockets like mini nukes will make it use that rocket instead of the default. If that is intentional, then that's fine, just asking about that.

Thanks. I'll also like to just suggest working on the seeking projectiles' movements a bit more as they tend to turn too tightly and not so smoothly. Some weapon sprites like the Needler rifle are too large in the player's hands or are too detailed to fit in with Terraria's art style.

Also projectiles like the needler's will target enemies that are behind blocks just for being close and the shots will just hit the blocks in the end.

Also I feel like too many projectiles tend to deflect off of surfaces too much, but that could just be me. It made sense in Halo because projectiles will only ricochet at certain angles, but in this the ricochet tends to be everywhere. Doesn't have to be removed, just thought in case you'd like you could implement trajectory to determine ricochets.

Alright ill try to soften all the sounds, it may take a bit cause there is a lot, I'll take a look at the code for chlorophyll bullets and the calamities vanities if they have a github

I've done more testing. The gun sounds definitely need to be softer. The firing sounds literally overshadow almost all the sounds in the game. They're way too loud.

Also I'd like to report that while the seeking projectiles have improved they will target some critters from other mods especially ones from Calamity's Vanities. This is not Halo weapons' fault, it's just that some critters from certain mods will still be labelled as enemies for some reason. I suggest to try targeting some of the code from Chlorophite bullets as those have often remained consistent with targeting the correct enemies.

I would like to say that some of the naming issues are still popping up when I mouse over an assault rifle or something. All the other items will end up having the same name when I mouse over them as well. Might want to go fix that again.

Thank you too. Also don't forget to fix the grenade volume and distance issue. Their fuses and explosions remain consistently loud or sound close no matter how far.

Thanks for the update. You are doing very well with the small steps. Those small steps always matter. As long as mods keep going forward. Hopefully more weapons can be added as things improve. Doesn't have to always completely function like they did in the Halo games, sometimes Terraria's limitations might require a small difference.
