I really like Jotaro, but this mod of him is completely outmatched by pretty much every mod. Majority of other modded characters have abilities akin to tp or just straight up tp, but Jotaro resetting a person's frames to match his pretty much makes any advantage you would get with tp null.

That and all of his abilities beside Iggy and .50 Caliber Star Sniper have extremely short range, you practically have to get within standing grapple range to hit someone, which even compared to non modded characters makes him one of the worst characters in terms of just melee range reach.

I would say the fact he has extremely high damage is great, but the amount of predicting and set up to get yourself into position to actually deal the damage makes the character pretty much a bad choice regardless of who you're going against.

apologies for the paragraph wall and generally negative comment, but I did wish to share if updates to this mod gets made.

the mod is hella cool but its outmatched by most mods, timestop can be bursted and its one of the only good move imo (after i used it in a lot of fights) and most moves can't combo because of di, that completly ignores barrage and makes it usless since you knock him away (counts for other moves too lol) and star finger is really good but you can't reach your enemy sometimes so you have to use it again or a projectile to compensate for it sadly

really good mod tho, if it does get buffed i'll go back to using it

I honestly would think it could be cooler than it already is, simply by making it like the diavolo mod, in terms of how the stand works, like being able to move the stand, i dont have any other problems with it, very cool mod-

This update is the part 2 i was talking about, we just added things that we were going to add in part 1. The next update will most likely be the last update (beside bug fixes and balancing) We want to move onto a different character as we think after the next update jotaro will be a good enough character to where we can stop focusing on him and move onto the new character we have planned. Sorry for the long wait for the update. I ran into some issue with my godot, and couldn't work on the mod for a while. I just want to say thank you very very much for almost 1.8k current subscribers. I don't think I've ever had this many people see/use something that I've worked on. With all of that being said, i've updated the character, but he is a tad bit op... try to think of this update as a part 1. (also waspy fixed some of the sprites being a blue color.) :steamhappy:

The reason we haven't updated the mod in a while is because we want to include a move with the update. We have changed somethings in the mod (like sprites) but haven't made, or fully completed, a new move for Jotaro. :steammocking:

ColdBreaker, we plan on adding more standless moves and maybe increasing hitstun on stand moves for more combo capability. While we'd love to make Star Platinum as fast as he can be, the stand moves being the heavy and strongest moves would make him too broken. :steambored:

good character so far however i feel like the stand attacks itself are a bit slow in speed compared to what Star platinum is capable of (except for the barrage)

change notes say that i might've fixed timestop... i sorta helped it not get canceled, but if you time stop while they're fallen or when they're about to hit the ground the timestop will get canceled. i am still looking into trying to fix this.

It's pretty sick seeing all the feedback and support of this mod. I still feel like I coulda done wayyyyyy better with the spriting but still glad to see people are enjoying it. We're debating on respriting it soon. :steamthumbsup:

HokkiYoki, we've notice this too. I've tried to fix this and still am. I think the reason it doesn't work is because the person landing on the ground resets their stun. Hopefully I will find out how to fix this soon.
