Development for this map has also ceased.
Currently, multiple additions to the lower sublevel are planned including a prototype teleportation lab to serve as a Lambda Core replacement.
The AMS won't be added outright due to my own unwillingness to intrude on already established Half-Life lore. Instead, a replacement will be designed and essentially function the same way.
As of current, I've just taken finishing this map project into my own hands which unfortunately means I have to learn Hammer... from scratch.
Watch this space...
I wanted to know if updates are planned (the addition of an AMS or something similar ?)
I mounted it the way every sane person would. I even re-mounted it the way the video said, and this time, I'm getting missing textures and error signs.
You need the STEAM, RETAIL version of BMS to play this map.
Go to the discussions tab of this map for a guide on how to properly mount BMS to your game.
Retail steam version of Black Mesa when I go to mount it gives me BMS?
You need the retail version of Black Mesa, which is just named that. "Black Mesa". I did this in a far flung past, but forgot the actual process to mount Black Mesa proper.
It's fuckin freaky.
Check your path and try again. If error persists, make sure you're not using the 2012 mod version of BMS. You must use the retail version.
