A nice switch option to Your also very enjoyable De-Lisle rifle.
Lengthwise it would be comparable to a "Tanker M1". But the M1 is a self-loading rifle, whilst the Carcano is a classic bolt action system, like the De-Lisle. Ian McCullom has a Video on the Carcano Shortie:
