@firenwater84 I will wait until KI5 does so. If I'm going to, I would like the updated version to have all the details they have added since I last updated this one.

Anyway, I think my next version will be a legitimate patch of KI5's work since I have better knowledge now of how I might go about doing that. Sorry to disappoint. This is not a priority of mine at the moment--schooling comes first.

@NekoPix, you need the "Tread's Water Tank Trucks" mod. Similarly, you can also use my other mod which is a modified version of that mod which allows the disinfection of the water tanks with a bottle of bleach. It's in my mod collection at the top of the page. Although, there is no obligation to do that. You do need "Tread's Water Tank Trucks" regardless in some form or another.

I'll see if I can add it as a prerequisite.

do i need any mod to make the tanker take water like i did for the original or just this?

I'm not entirely sure how I mised the fact that the year wasn't there for your mod, which I know means it's the current year. >.< I must have been half asleep.

@Neko Jess, the last time KI5 updated his "'78 AM General M35A2 + M49A2C + M50A3 + M62" mod was May 16, 2023 @ 12:53pm. That is for vis version 1.50. I posted this patch on Jan 1 @ 12:04pm of this year, 2024. My patch was last updated Jan 3 @ 6:40am. I hope that remedies any concerns.

I will keep an eye out for updates on KI5's mod or changes that are brought to my attention via posts like yours. If there are any changes made, I'll do my best to contemporaneously make similar changes to this patch.

Yep, that is possible, creek. I made it so that my fix had the same mod ID as the original, so the server will recognize it as the same thing. It just has changed values, and those values should update. My friend implemented it on his server (and another person that downloaded this patch). I can confirm it can be replaced mid playthrough.

Will I be able to switch from the original to this mid game on my dedicated MP server without losing existing vehicles? Really like the improvements here, esp. the wrecker towing and offroad stuff.
