I hardly ever toss awards out, but this mod, yeah. 100% game changer. I've been using this since it came out, and would NEVER go back to the default.

It never made a lick of sense to me other than 'gamey-restrictions' to add to Bradford's incessant yammering. (Which ALSO no longer happens thanks to mods. Heh.):steamthumbsup:

5/5, does exactly what it says and seems to work with every other mod on here. I have tossed this into a few big mod sets and it never fails to do the job :steamthumbsup:

Okay, I'm playing my first campaign with this mod...and I LOVE it! No more waiting to build engineer-staffed facilities until they line up with my workshop. Thanks again.

I've restarted runs because the debris were in a spot that meant I couldn't put my ring facility in the right place. this is perfect.

@Zelfana You know, I think I might have. I added the mod, let AML/steam download it and then started the game...and yeah, I DID load the prior day's save which was a mission. When I finished that and returned to the Strat layer it didn't work. The script to activate worked aces though, so thank you for that. :steamhappy::steamhappy:

It's okay to run Core Room Slots alongside this. It's just those extra engineer slots in Research can't be staffed by GREMLINs and I can't fix that in this mod.

Post 'fix' comment. TYVM x 100 for this mod. The QOL on this one is beyond awesome.

You don't get any more gremlins than before (which is just fine!), but taking out the artificial restriction fixes something that NEVER made any sense to me.

It saves me headaches when it comes to something that shouldn't be restricted like that.:steamthumbsup:

The console command fixed it. I didn't initially run it because the message above said:
If you are changing config AFTER mod has already been active in your game you will have to run this console command to update the adjacencies:

Try to run the console command if it didn't automatically apply. It is supposed to do that when the mod is first installed.

Other problem you could have is that you have something else changing the relevant config after this mod.

Is that from a campaign start or mid? Mine is only allowing vertical/horizontal staffing to adjacent facilities after a mid-campaign install of the mod. (No errors being thrown and the mod installed just fine.)

I can confirm that you can staff GREMLINs from the CombiWSLab to facilities, no matter the location of the facility it works from one corner to the oposite corner.

I'd like the gremlins being assigned FROM the lab assigned engineers to NOT be strictly vertical or horizontal in orientation.

Are you trying to staff GREMLINs into the CombiWSLab or staff the GREMLINs it is providing when staffed elsewhere?

It cannot be staffed by GREMLINs just like the regular Workshop to prevent cascading GREMLIN staffing.

Doesn't seem to be working for the Combined Lab/Workshop facility. (Unless I'm doing something wrong...wouldn't be the first time. Heh.)
