Theory is that Valve/Turtle Rock thought that L4D1 already had Generator Restart and so wanted to make it easier??? Which is why they removed the sign breaking down and having to be restarted.

I just found out there was an original version of the Dark Carnival escape...

It wasn't a helicopter, it was a bus used for escape.

Nice mod. It greatly improved the finale. I just wish there was a version with continuous sparks falling off the sing. Since it's half working, it would be very cool and movie like. But overall, the fun factor is 10/10

i didnt know about those lines, however they do not exist in the game_sounds_coach file so the voice lines dont actually play in game unfortunately

Also the original intense explosive Dark Carnival finale that was cut, at least you can experience that in the Remix version though.

I feel like what we got in L4D2 was only a fraction of what Valve wanted to include in this game compared to L4D1.
