not getting the faction headwear issue but can report that currently the headwear doesn't actually cover the face, this can be resolved by making the body part groups have;
<li>FullHead</li> instead of <li>UpperHead</li>

can also confirm, nomad hood is replacing the headwear for every faction i encounter, even modded ones. not sure how to fix this, maybe messing with total control?

Hi, I'm having the same issue with the nomad hood, I'm not sure if there is a certain config of clothes policy or settings we can change to avoid this, if there is please let me know.

I can confirm that the nomad hood is being overused and overriding other head wears. It's been annoying honestly. Just confirming.

That might be due to how faction clothing is selected. I'm guessing based on prices. I'll see if I can check on it, if it is caused by the reason I think.

honestly after a while playing it start to replace every default clothing from the other faction . the romans, imperium, hi tech, ninja .... they all start to wear the basic hood after a while so no more diversity . it happen in all my playthrough , and as you can see i have more than 6000 h ;-) . thank you for the fast answer

big problem with the mod . of course its cool and stuff but it progressively replace every other faction clothes . after a while it destroy all the cool diversity, it happens all the time .

Back when I was giving pointers on the art direction of the mod I slapped together a big moodboard on what I liked the gear to look like and I pulled from a ton of different ideas. Not all of the things got used in the designs but I can tell you what was on it. Old Fallen concept art (from Destiny) for cloaks. Fremen designs across several media, specifically the recent Dune Spice Wars game, No Man's Skys Autophage, the great art of Darren Bartley, Necromunda's Nomads definitely took the foreground, and a bunch of little things here and there. Mlemlom below hit the nail on the head as well.

I had a quest where I had to deliver 2 Nomad Technopath Hoods and my tailor couldn't make them even though I thought I had the gold. The info tooltip at the tailor bench (the one titled "Make Nomad Technopath Hood) mentions "20x Gold" but if I click "View: Nomad Technopath Hood" it lists "200x Gold" which is the actual value the game is using for making the item.

Can anyone tell me if this is an inconsistency from this mod? So that I can know if it's on the mod's end or if it's some kind of conflict I have going on.

I was experiencing a bug with this mod that would break the Assign Manage Outfits menu completely when it tried to draw the Technopath hood. Only restarting the game would fix the otherwise blank menu.

Turns out the Technopath Hood was trying to add HackingSpeed bonus, but I didn't have Idology DLC enabled. Not sure if XML mods support checking for enabled DLC before attempting to apply a trait. I did have Royalty installed so the Psycast stuff probably would do the same to anyone not using that DLC.

Hey, I'm having an issue where none of the headgear displays. it may have something to do with one of my mods, im not sure, and its not throwing an error in the log.
I'm not expecting a perfect fix, just wondering if anyone else is having the same issue? maybe we can compare modlists and figure out the issue?

@jackieLama You should be able to craft the gear from a crafting spot and machining bench once you have the Machining research unlocked. No Complex Clothing research necessary! I would suggest making the bills individually so you can micro the material its made from. 80% fabric sharp armor and above should be ideal for armor.

@Pac becuase it is literally up to the CE team to choose what mods they want to support and THEN they make the choice to support it. Argon can do sh*t to change that. Its literally like that with every vehicle mod out there. Or weapons mod. you can go and ASK the CE team to make a patch for it. But this is why literally EVERY mod says "is this CE compatible? I dont know go ask them", unless they already say "yes" or "no" on the page.

@Irishrover13 Not just the Ash Waste Nomads, but the Robed Figues of Journey, the Fremen, No Man Sky's Autophages, the many factions of Deserts of Kharak and other sci-fi nomads went into the inspiration for this. If you want bugs to ride into combat I'd suggest Factions expanded Insectiods or Biomes! Cavern edition. The latter helps to keep the merciless desert sun off your scavs, a few shroomies to grow in the caves and turn into paste, and a few bovine beetles for delicious bug milk.
