I'm guessing similar to adamantine that clothes made with it wear out at the same rate as any other material?

The extractor workshop is not showing up in my workshops construction list. Am I missing something? I have the option to weave metal cloth, but not the way to get metal thread with which to do so.

@kelladon, I'll give it a shot.
@Autunite, never seen that happen, I'll check the Raws

My metal extractor dumps magma into the center tile sometimes.

Hi there - do you think you could update the mod so that the "weave metal cloth" job appears in manager orders? It's a little tedious to manually queue that job over and over.

...so a gold shoe weighs 4 while a silk one weighs less than 1

it still uses the cloth template so it shouldnt have extra weight, i may have to do some !science! and go full Moist Von Lipwig and see if that slows em down

I feel its more cosmetic, gold cloth would be good for strength training if it is heavier.
[STRUCTURAL_ELASTICITY_WOVEN_THREAD] caps the shear and strain values,
i havnt noticed any clothes actually catching fire

I assume this is too heavy to be generally useful but maybe good for soldiers or if you need clothes that won't catch fire?
