I was absolutely tearing my hair out trying to figure out why my right click wouldn't work for my drills.
Turns out I subscribed to this useless mod. To each their own, I guess, but being a masochist isn't always a good thing.

The animation stuff is from ToolCore being a bit weird...

If you have a Torch server and just want to boost the vanilla drill tick rate and fix the animations, the DePatch plugin lets you set the update rate to whatever you want. You can even disable drill right click with it if you want, so basically it does what this mod does, but wayyy better...

I think Vanilla Tool Replacement (ToolCore) also has a drill tick speed boost, but it changes the other tools too and messes up the animations sometimes.

There is a feature in this mod that increases the excavation speed, is it possible to make a separate mod that only affects it?

When running this mod on the server I host, sometimes the drill does not work or it works but the animations stop.


But the drill speed that this mode provides, that is, it's like we're digging the area we're digging in 0.1 seconds. But in vanilla it takes like 1.5 seconds.
