I recently discovered an equally great mod... Search CHIRPER instead of chirpy and you'll find a mod to MOVE the little blue demon... I actually appreciate this because when I turn on ANARCHY the little guy BURNS, lol, as a visual cue it's engaged. I hate the little blue spec but having it down on the bottom left out of my sight is a bonus.

I like having that little visual proof of what state anarchy is on without having to open up the road panel to see. But it's still mostly out of sight down beside the owned tiles button.

It's from about 2015 but it works. I just started using it yesterday. And despite the description I didn't have to activate it any other way than the normal activation button in the menu of the game. Just click and drag where you want.

I thought this was the most recognizable feature of C:Skylines :sob:

That mod‘s description doesn’t tell me anything about what it does and how it does it. And it doesn’t appear to be open source so I can’t see the source code. Choose that, mine or any other mod at your own discretion.

Does that mean that the Chirpy Exterminator Mod is deprecated?

“Hide It!” only hides the Chirper. This mod completely disables it. Also: for people playing on Apple Silicon “Hide It!” might lead to issues as it depends on the Harmony Patching library. This mod uses the game’s built in functionality to remove the Chirper from the game without any dependencies.

Thanks to the creator. It seems that there is already a similar module. The module is hides it.

@Zattom and when it gets old, you can install this mod 😉

I agree with what Laura says for the simple reason that it's pretty cool and cute during the first hours of the game <3

@Laura and it can get annoying and old very fast 😉 In my opinion: It doesn’t really offer insightful information but constantly nags you with useless fluff.

why would anyone want to remove the chirper? its cute

Well designed, I appreciate the quality of code.

Can confirm: no problem using my mod alongside Hide It!
StayHungryStayFoolish 8 Jan, 2024 @ 2:34pm
@Bomret please confirm the compatibility with Hide it! Thx.

@Cru Hide It! really only hides the Chirper. My mod uses the game API to really disable it. But if you're looking for a mod that does more, Hide it! would be a great choice. But Hide It! uses the Harmony library which a lot of Apple Silicon Users have problems with since the last OS updates.

Simply use Hide it! mod........

Interesting.
