Remember the Anchorage doesn't bypass if you already control that territory, which you probably will.
Good idea of getting cores on RELCOM earlier if you go with the prince path, I'll add that
Also, not getting coring focuses on more than one province after the four-way war is rather harsh and brings progress to a halt while you wait. If you pick the prince and go robots, you seem to be working with RELCOM, so why not core his territory?
