I've had some crashes now when choosing armies, dunno if it's due to some units like camel jezzails or something, but clicking on an army with those or moving them, randomly crashes the game. Playing as Grand Magus, and these are basic lord armies which crash. Anyone else having same kind of problems?

The mod works fine, but I am noticing that the sound or better yet the voice when for e.g. Fatandira starts talking she says "Princess of the sa..." and then it cuts off. Similarly "Servant of the Tu...." and cuts off. Does anyone have similar issues, or did I perhaps made the order of the mods incorrect or something?

is there any chance that we can confederate other arabian factions in this mod ? i feel lack of the other LL in my campagin. Or maybe any submod with more units ? :)

Theres an issue with this mod and caravans of the old world when playing as dwarves, the caravan Icon covers the forge icon. Disabling OVN Araby makes it so the forge and caravan both appear.

6.1.5 fixed the navel trade node causing CTD on loading problem, so it should be safe to use.

Question, any plans to update since it looks like CA is not going to fix the mod, probably because they are going to introduce their own sea trade with the new DLC coming out or the next one.

Seems like crash after battle is a common issue with OvN and SCM modded factions across the board, hence the 6.1.4 warning.

My game crashes during loading and I get this error in logs: "Failed to load mod file [script\campaign\mod\ovn\json.lua], error is: cannot open json: No such file or directory. " Does anyone one if I'm missing something?

Playing as Jaffar my game keeps crashing after fighting a battle manually (or loading quick saves and manual saves for that matter). It did work sometimes early on, but after a while every battle crashes after. Seems to be exclusive to Jaffar as it didn't occur at all when playing the other 2.

Interestingly enough, the crash is during the loading screen and doesn't produce crash logs which makes diagnosing the problem a bit tricky. I tried to look into it a bit and it could be a listener calling a null value. Looking through RPFM a lot of the listeners are sorta unsafe as they don't check if certain values exist before calling making them pretty susceptible to errors.

Granted the cause may be one of the other mods I'm using. But besides Mixer, Lost World and Mod Framework I'm only using balanced extra skill points and climate adaption lite version. None of which should interfere with this mod in any way. If anyone got other ideas please let me know.

not sure if these are bugs/oversights but i wanted to bring them up just in case.

1: The great desert of araby (place with the oasis landmark) has 4 build slots, but you can only build the landmark.

2: jaffar's genie form's melee attacks seem to scatter his own troops, sendng models flying. i don't think i've seen that from any vanilla unit, but could be wrong.

Is Araby (and the other, less script-heavy) OvN factions actually broken in multiplayer? I'm worried about the campaign dying due to an error down the line, since I know those I play with can be pretty impatient or dramatic if they have to restart a campaign.

Is the issue actually the factions, or is it actually just MCT (that mixu lists as a dependency) and players reporting the problem further down the chain? I've seen a few mods that add entirely new factions that work for multiplayer (rather than just overhauling a minor faction's start).

Yes, it was missing some compat tables, resubscribe and it will work (If this mod was your only problem)

I'm getting a crash after the latest update:
The following mods cause a crash to the database: ovn_araby.pack
The first invalid database record is cr_special_roc_outpost_1 in table building_levels_tables and pack file ovn_araby.pack

@ᚹᛟᛞᚨᚾᚨᛉ I had that issue, mod compatibility. In my case it was Army Carousal. Try the game with no other mods, then turn them on in batches until the crash starts back up.

Yeah the tech tree is gone for many mods I've noticed, the only bug that follows through several faction mods
