@ryanjames, which start bias does this civ have?

which bias does this civ have?
RJ  [author] 5 May, 2016 @ 2:32am
@major tom

It's the three Legs of Man, in Manx legend the seagod Mannanin would transform himself into a 3 legged creature, and roll down the mountains to scare off invaders.

Though its actual usage was adapted from the Trincria probably around the 13th or 14th centuries.
NUKE TEL AVIV 4 May, 2016 @ 10:40am
why does their symbol look like the trinacria

@omghaythamkenwaii

Glad you enjoyed it!

If you liked that, then maybe you should check out the other Manx civ I made led by King Orry?

Being able to actually play as the Isle of Man in a game of Civ makes me much more patriotic than usual, good job! ^-^
RJ  [author] 20 Mar, 2016 @ 3:33am
@forza-jordan

Approximately 2000 people it seems, at least, if you don't count the King Orry civ
forza-jordan 17 Mar, 2016 @ 1:53pm
Ewwww! Who would want to play as the Isle of Man??
Demon Lord Zeraxos 7 Jan, 2016 @ 9:23pm
Nevermind, it's just incompatible with one of my mods
Demon Lord Zeraxos 7 Jan, 2016 @ 6:09pm
I can't start production when I first settle Douglas

@ClanSpanker

I think it does, but I'm not fully sure. It's been a while since I've done anything with this mod, and its more calcul8or's mod than mine.
Stull 10 Sep, 2015 @ 8:43am
As ClanSpanker asked, I too would like to know if the Steam Packet keeps its ability to carry aircraft. If not, the value of the ship is very short.
ClanSpanker 6 Sep, 2015 @ 5:06pm
When I upgrade the steam packet to a destroyer will it still be able to carry 2 aircraft?
rat trenchcoat 3 Jun, 2015 @ 11:09am
Could you guys add a link to the civfanatics forums? I play on a Mac and the only way I can get mods is through direct download.
blackarmyjacket 25 May, 2015 @ 5:47pm
Can't find in mods anymore.
RJ  [author] 11 May, 2015 @ 2:41am
@Orbius

Events and decisions is very time consuming and difficult tocode, perhaps sometime in the future though
Spannaway 10 May, 2015 @ 3:00pm
Could you make the mod support the events and decisions mod as well? Last time I checked, they didn't work together. Thanks if you can!
blackarmyjacket 2 May, 2015 @ 8:16am
Thanks mate. keep up the good work!
RJ  [author] 26 Apr, 2015 @ 10:32am
@El_Timor

It should have RED/ethnic units support now.

@Glyndŵr

I don't know, perhaps, there's already a good welsh mod in the big celts split. I think calcul8or might be busy with adding US states aswell :p
blackarmyjacket 25 Apr, 2015 @ 5:41am
Also I like playing this with the 1918 only mod, but I have to advance to destroyers and lose my steam packets...
Delve 24 Apr, 2015 @ 4:41pm
@Ryanjames Do you think you could to make a Welsh mod?
blackarmyjacket 23 Apr, 2015 @ 3:33pm
This is awesome, probably my favorite mod civilization. The thing CIV 5 is missing is small but mighty nations. They are the best. I would just appreciate it if you could make stuff like infantry and tanks and stuff compatible with ethnic units

@Commander_Benjamin_of_the_FDBR

I think other modders have some Irish civs up their sleeves
LazrDaddy 19 Apr, 2015 @ 4:24pm
What about ireland...

@LadyGagasTestes

The Manx Empire, totally historically accurate
LadyGagasTestes 9 Apr, 2015 @ 5:24am
Very well made civ, I'm currently pumping out wonders because great engineers, and I can't wait for the modern era so I can blitzkrieg the shit out of the AI with my massive air force.
Kaepsi 5 Apr, 2015 @ 8:54am
At first glance the +1 engineer point looks worthless - but combined with the boost making great engineer's this civ really has it going for them. The great wheel makes not settling on his much more rewarding and the Steam Packet is the Nau that there should have been. Very balanced and everything is fits together to make this civilization a strong player.

One of the best civlization mods I've seen yet, can't wait too see more

is there YNAEMP support?
RJ  [author] 2 Feb, 2015 @ 8:30am
@Zhantino

The picture is from inside the house of keys (the Manx parliament)
Zhantino 1 Feb, 2015 @ 3:03pm
Why is there a computer in the background on picture 1?
Beans 10 Nov, 2014 @ 12:38pm
Awwww HELL YEAH
Flagellation Nation 22 Oct, 2014 @ 5:50pm
How does one manage to find enough settlements on the Isle of Man to provide enough city names for a large civ?
wabbithunta 16 Oct, 2014 @ 10:45am
I had to laugh when I first saw this. (I had just glanced at it)
I originally thought "WTF! Why would anyone want to make the Mancs a "nation"?
Then I realised it was Manx.. lol
RJ  [author] 12 Oct, 2014 @ 3:18am
@ruhrgebietheld

Why thank you :)
Mojave Neon 10 Oct, 2014 @ 4:24pm
I honestly thought they were going to be severely underpowered, because so much of their UA doesn't kick in until much later in the game. Turns out, I was way off with that prediction. This is probably the most perfectly balanced mod civ I've ever encountered. Everything was timed just right in its availability. The 1 GE point from the start lets you automatically get one of the classical/medieval wonders that you desire. The Kern is good and not overly expensive, giving you enough military might that the other civs can't take you out early (unless you couldn't even make it to Civil Service, but that's highly doubtful to occur). The great wheel comes in right around the time the Kern's usefulness is starting to wear out, and is an excellent UB. Then another free engineer soon after that, and another era after that the real power of the Manx begins with the discount aircraft production. Absolutely wonderful mod. Great work with this one.

@Staid

Why not

I'm of Manx heritage so happy to see this! Great work!

@calcul8or - awesome! I am sure it will be great!

calcul8or  [author] 19 Sep, 2014 @ 5:15am
@AlmightyDarkanine - mostly, because I suck at art :)
amelia 18 Sep, 2014 @ 9:47pm
Good looking mod, but why does the leaders head look so...out of place?
ArthurPoondragon 18 Sep, 2014 @ 7:42pm
Nice! I visited a couple of years ago and remember The Great Wheel. :squirtyay:
EluCCCY 18 Sep, 2014 @ 5:27pm
when i first saw this i was like ohh shit we got manx cats on the scene, but then i realized this was people not fluffy cats
RJ  [author] 17 Sep, 2014 @ 1:17pm
It might be slightly OP, especially considering how some wonders give +1 GE point already, but thanks for the feedback.

It was going to be +50% GE generation originally, but it was proving tricky to code.

Perhaps in the future though
Loozy2 17 Sep, 2014 @ 12:34pm
* in addition to the other aspects.
Loozy2 17 Sep, 2014 @ 12:34pm
What about: +1 engineer points for every wonder in your capital.
