That flip panel was driving me nuts XD
Clever puzzles, awesome design and a tough challenge of course. To me the second room was - puzzlewise - nothing in comparison, but as elegant as the first one, maybe even more.
Thumbs up

I was very proud of myself when I finished the 1st part. I thought I was done. No, there was a 2nd part. Brain very tiered. But I pushed through and finally figured out the 2nd part. Very nice puzzle!

Amazing design. Unlike the other comments I found the first to be much easier. Second one screwed with my head more.

Enjoy every chamber and puzzle you make! This one is one of your best works imo so far. Unique cavern design with suiting ambience combined with two very canny puzzles is truly a masterpiece.

the fact that the first puzzle in this map just works is wild

Very clever puzzle, I prefer the first one, it looks simple but does require some thought, faved:steamthumbsup: my playthrough: https://youtu.be/6Xu8klyYfSk

Very sleek design, sometimes all you need in life is just some smooth laser logic.

Brilliant map! I particularly like the "three-layer" solution in the first room and your work on lighting. Very satisfying puzzle with several interesting moments and great visuals. Thumbs up.

One of the most beautiful maps I have ever played, and it comes with two great puzzles as well - what more can one ask? As many others, I enjoyed the first puzzle a tiny bit more, just because of how subtle the logic is, but the second one is great too. Huge thumbs up and added to favourites :cozycrashfish:

Finally! That last portal shot seemed so illogical to me I kept doing the opposite :steambored:
I was quite dumbfounded after gaining access to the upper level and wondering why my portal selection is not working. I always hope I'm up to the challenge while playing maps from you smart folks but..I digress. Wonderful puzzle, such creativity is always, in the most awesome and frustrating of ways appreciated. A fav! Thank you :p2cube::steamthumbsup::Raz:

I really love the first room! I would favorite, but the second room relying on a ghost cube kind of ruins it for me. In awe of your mind and your artistry though. The clean, yet fraying cavernous style is fantastic!
nerdlingnation  [author] 16 Jan, 2024 @ 1:20pm
@Jade BGE you are correct. You can figure out how to do it, I am sure!

Hair pulling ensues...I feel like I need a null-portal in the first chamber - true?. Please say yes...

Excellent as always! Great puzzle, beautiful scenery .

Having played this a few more times; if the second room was first, I think I might well have added it to my favourites, before playing the next room, and then added that to my favourites; twice  Full walkthrough: intended solution.
Nobody No-One 14 Jan, 2024 @ 4:56pm
Nice clean and non-distracting Hammer aesthetics and a beautiful pair of puzzles! I agree that the first room is slightly, though not substantially, harder.
klaus.sfc01 14 Jan, 2024 @ 1:20pm
The first room took me longer than the second one XD thumbs up
nerdlingnation  [author] 14 Jan, 2024 @ 11:55am
@bullfrog Thank you for the kind words. Both of your solutions are intended. I'll add your playthroughs to the description soon.

Nice one :-)
bullfrog 14 Jan, 2024 @ 1:35am
Here you go: intended 2nd room solution ? I think I would have completed this room a bit faster than I did, but unfortunately I misread @Libbybapa’s comments and thought that the half blocks were not used :steamfacepalm:
Narkodes 14 Jan, 2024 @ 1:29am
Stunning visuals and a set of two great puzzles. Big thumbs up!
bullfrog 14 Jan, 2024 @ 1:12am
Well, I've now completed the second room and that is also definitely worth a big  Now all I've got to do is remember how I did it!
bullfrog 14 Jan, 2024 @ 12:13am
Well, I've not even started the second room yet, but the first room is brilliant, so  and added to favourites. I completed the first room yesterday morning, but ran out of time, then couldn’t solve it that evening. But I woke up this morning and knew/remembered what the sequence was: intended 1st room solution ? Now for the second room!
jandlml 13 Jan, 2024 @ 7:35pm
excellent!! :steamhappy:

Very nice :)
Mattchew 13 Jan, 2024 @ 11:57am
Faved! I really adore the first room Having the final sequence only be possible because you have a blue portal elsewhere is brilliant. That got me stuck for a good while. I liked the second room as well! Kept on being surprised on how much there was left every time I thought I was at the end . Also probably one of my favorite maps aesthetically, its beautiful but keeps it very clean and easy on the eyes. Well done!
DiDo Killer! 13 Jan, 2024 @ 11:01am
Very clever, as always. :]
Oblivious Owl 13 Jan, 2024 @ 10:01am
Nice little pair of puzzles. Great hammer work as well!
Libbybapa 13 Jan, 2024 @ 8:09am
Very nice map. I enjoyed it a lot. There were some things that I thought could be improved for better layout clarity. Some indication of the lift activation method (immediate activation, or player activation) would be appreciated, especially for the first puzzle because the player can't tell which it is without doing a fair amount of work. I also found the 1/2 voxel guardrails (combined with invisible player clips) to the broken wall spaces to be ambiguous. It is obvious that the player can easily cube climb on top of them and it gives the impression that they may be part of the puzzle, making the layout more obscure than necessary. If you made them 3/4 voxel high or higher, it would be clear at a glance. I'd also prefer respawn/no-respawn signage on droppers so I don't need to wonder or take the time to save/kill cube/reload. Anyway, great work as usual.

Very pleasant pair of puzzles. I liked the first one the most - in particular how the player is expected to "lose" their portal at the exit once in order to make a few adjustments and return.
