im too lazy to mount cs:s for its nicer textures so i just stick to default hl2 ones, so that probably has something to do with it
the entire map aside from the skybox and props are brush based, the track itself started as me following a tutorial on how to make highway 17 style roads

I don't know how, but this feels like a really old map in a good way. I like that most of it is brushwork instead of meshes. I have a hard time believing it was published this year, feels like I've been subscribed for years

probably not, however there are other racetracks and raceways on the workshop that are based on real tracks if that helps
