Sotetsu 5 Mar @ 7:41am
I really like this mod, but is there any update on getting the dresses to show up on thin body types?
cot 14 Dec, 2024 @ 12:00pm
is it compatible with SAR?
Hartarok  [author] 4 Jul, 2024 @ 1:26pm
@Panthercat64 i already started working on the missing body type some month ago but got caught up by other projects. BUT. if all goes well i will have more free time in july, so i'll try to dedicate a bit of that time to actually finishing this ;)
Panthercat64 30 Jun, 2024 @ 7:36pm
I couldn't figure how to do the same method with hunk body types, or at least in way that'd look nice, but I did through some simple photo editing make a good 'thin' body version of the dresses, mostly because I have some special races that only use the thin body type.

If I fix it up enough so I can get the color mapping working, I don't think is too hard but would be a tad tedious, do you wanna it to the mod officially? Not even for me to get credit, I just enjoy the look of the dresses, as its good for ideologies/trying to get the royalty ending where I need to quickly see who's important.

My one wish is this layered with Beautiful Bodies
Realm Imp 7 Apr, 2024 @ 12:26am

Finally, I can have well-dresssed tribal dancers

I feel seen "plays Rimworld like the Sims" well I play the sims in an unhinged way so thank you.
ThunderGodFnry 24 Feb, 2024 @ 3:13pm
what kind of Mods arent compatible? because my textures are just a black square
Wolfette 2 Feb, 2024 @ 4:44am
@ricmo No, you don't need any DLC, if a mod needs DLC it will be noted in the description and/or on the side of mod page.
catrar 29 Jan, 2024 @ 7:24pm
@Gelatinous Grey, I could be wrong, but it looks like Erin's Body Retexture from the screenshot. You can find it also on the Steam workshop.
Gelatinous Grey 27 Jan, 2024 @ 11:00am
Hi @Hartarok, I was wondering what if any mod you use to get the pawn's bodies to look like that? The fact they have cleavage and belly buttons specifically. Been looking and haven't had luck finding it so I figured I'd ask.
TheCarrierPrimoris 19 Jan, 2024 @ 7:40pm
Us fridge-like girls anticipate the expanded body types eagerly. And our boys that like to shine, too!
Hartarok  [author] 19 Jan, 2024 @ 12:32pm
@d_valroth thank you for pointing this out, i did not think about that.
Since it was not my intention to lock this mod behind Royalty, i moved back the research to complex clothing.

@ricmo It should work now.
ricmo 19 Jan, 2024 @ 11:36am
Is it possible to use this mod without any DLC installed?
d_valroth 18 Jan, 2024 @ 4:04pm
Noble Apparel is only available if you have Royalty, so that would effectively remove them from being crafted by the player if they do not have that DLC I think. (They would still appear on traders and NPCs)
Hartarok  [author] 18 Jan, 2024 @ 12:12pm
@zanaikin They should be medieval tech level. Still, i pushed a quick uptdate to make sure, maybe it has resolved your problem.
Also i changed the research prerequiste to noble apparel last uptdate, maybe that's why you can't find them.
zanaikin 17 Jan, 2024 @ 1:55pm
Are these dresses also available in lower technology eras? It'd be nice if they're available starting from Medieval.
I noticed when loading this mod into my medieval game the dresses don't show up on any bench.
VictoriaFae (She/Her) 17 Jan, 2024 @ 1:47pm
im so happy other ppl wanna dress their colonists up pretty haha thank you for making this mod
indrageerts 16 Jan, 2024 @ 3:28pm
You should add a screenshot of the clothes in different colors. The reason why is the two tone dress, it looks like legs not brocade, so I wonder (and others might) if that persists in other colors.
Nice work!
Muscle Russell 16 Jan, 2024 @ 8:57am
I request banana hammocks for my male colonists for egalitarian purposes.
mt5565418 16 Jan, 2024 @ 7:23am
cool work keep it up:steamhappy:
Siren System 15 Jan, 2024 @ 4:12pm
Cool, I'ma make all the men in the colony wear them
Hartarok  [author] 15 Jan, 2024 @ 12:16pm
Hi there! Thank you for your feedback, your support is much apreciated. Indeed i got a bit carried away adding research projects, i have removed them and placed the dresses in noble and royal apparel. I have also added royalty tags for the 3 of them so you can enjoy noble without mood debuff :steamhappy:
bean 15 Jan, 2024 @ 10:27am
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I was about to mod in my own skirts for my female royals!
Spontaneite 15 Jan, 2024 @ 5:08am
Very pretty in-game, thank you Hartarok!
Spontaneite 15 Jan, 2024 @ 5:08am
For everyone asking about removing research bloat, turns out this is pretty easy to tweak that way for personal use! Just go into this mod's folder and open Apparel_Dresses, replace every research requirement with NobleApparel, then delete or move the two research def files found in the same directory. From what I can tell this seems to work just fine, and my game has the dresses unlocked under Noble Apparel research. I have just crafted the countess dress in game and put it on a colonist so seems to be working fine.
zanaikin 14 Jan, 2024 @ 11:49pm
Finally! And these dresses are gorgeous!

I agree with MechaKitty that it would be best to unlock these with existing research (either Complex Clothing or Noble Apparel) than to further bloat the research tree
cmotes 14 Jan, 2024 @ 9:04pm
cool
Vethrivi 14 Jan, 2024 @ 4:59pm
Fantastic! ive just started a new empire run and these look perfect for a noble or member of royalty
MechaKitty 14 Jan, 2024 @ 3:13pm
I would suggest maybe unlocking with complex clothing research, or just removing research entirely. In my opinion I would prefer small cosmetic mods like this to not bloat the research tree any more than other mods. Looks nice though  :WhiteWolfFunny:
ploovonik 14 Jan, 2024 @ 1:25pm
FINALLY SOMETHING BESIDES SHIRTS AND PANTS
Sinful Alochii 14 Jan, 2024 @ 1:01pm
Very much appreciate the Art and Talent that went into this mod. Please do keep up the amazing work!!!
Erin 14 Jan, 2024 @ 10:39am
That second one is gorgeous... I need it.
Beanslinger 14 Jan, 2024 @ 9:57am
it took this long for someone to add dresses to the game? well done
SievertChaser 14 Jan, 2024 @ 7:13am
Not bad. Methinks the third one should count for Roylaty requirements.
redpopsackle 14 Jan, 2024 @ 6:52am
yaaaay
Vartarhoz 14 Jan, 2024 @ 4:18am
Now my harem concubines can dress nicely.
Hartarok  [author] 14 Jan, 2024 @ 2:30am
alright, thank you.
Stormtail 14 Jan, 2024 @ 2:23am
CE has an autopatcher, so it should work tbh. Doubt anyones going to battle in a bloody dress xD---then again, this is RW.
Hartarok  [author] 14 Jan, 2024 @ 2:21am
@niewielebrakowalo To be fair i don't know, I am not familiar with CE code. I tought apparel needed a patch for damage calculation for them to work, but i guess it will use vanilla value instead, and since they offer almost no protection it shoud't matter much as @d_valroth pointed out. Maybe someone familiar with CE can enlighten me in the matter.
I'll remove the CE incompatible tag in the meantime to avoid confusion.
Stormtail 14 Jan, 2024 @ 2:17am
Simple, elegant, effective. Me like ;3
niewielebrakowalo 14 Jan, 2024 @ 1:38am
are there any bugs if i try to use it with CE? (i know it says its incompatible but since its an apparel mod, i was wondering what bugs exactly i can encounter). The outfits look great!
Crisefelia 13 Jan, 2024 @ 11:29pm
Cute!
(≡◉‿‿◉≡) 13 Jan, 2024 @ 7:54pm
perfect for my roman colony
d_valroth 13 Jan, 2024 @ 3:00pm
Looks nice though. There's definitely a lack of fancy overall outside of some of the royalty stuff. It would be nice to get the other bodytypes.
