A update to allow you to sell stored genes from these to orbital traders would be amazing, but this is a great mod even without that.

orbital trade beacons don't seem to work with these, makes selling duplicates a bit more annoying

You may need xpath like this:
<xpath>/Defs/ThingDef[defName = "TargetDef"]/comps/li[@Class="CompProperties_AffectedByFacilities"]/linkableFacilities[li="GeneBank"]</xpath>
This will locate the <linkableFacilities> tag, which contains <li>GeneBank</li>

Especially in the case of match, it doesn't seem practical or necessary to replace the entire XML tag.

Hi, I noticed that you used PatchOperationReplace in patch, which causes obvious compatibility issues, I suggest you change to use PatchOperationAdd instead.

This mod has a load order issue with Gene Extractor Tiers. It only works if it is lower than this mod.

this came from me trying to fix Big and Small, though; not sure if there's additional incompatibilities with ReSplice, which I don't have in my modlist

@NeoSono This mod has a REPLACE instead of an ADD operation on the linkables for the assembler, which messes up any other mod that adds linkables by clearing out whatever they've added as linkable. For now, altering the load order so Gene Banks Expanded is before other gene related mods fixes it

yeah because it was a recent patch of resplice core that lead to those problems. I also didnt have any problem with resplcie apart from incompatability to this mod until today. ever since the patch late yesterday trading doesnt work if you resplice active and genes in the banks.

The mod was working fine since today. Since today I'm getting an error when I'm trying to trade while the genes are in one of the expanded genebanks.

any idea why this doesnt work with resplice core? when this is active no building from resplice will connect like the gene vault and repository from that mod.

@V3rt3x: It isn't an issue with this mod, or any other gene bank mod. Sadly vanilla hardcodes the search to the Gene bank def, and only looks for that, instead of say looking at the comps for CompProperties_GenepackContainer which would cover all modded gene banks. Would require a Harmony patch.

Sorry for bothering but I found an issue. The Large Gene Bank and Huge Gene Bank aren't registered as gene banks for the Clone extractor (Biotech Cloning-mod name). Could you please try to fix it?

You haven't added the necessary textures for the large gene bank to be rotated properly. As a result, it ends up looking rather odd when rotated. The small and huge ones look great though, and the large one also looks good so long as you don't rotate it.

Is there any way to make it so genes in the gene banks can be traded? Seems that functionality isn't there for any of them including the regular gene packs like without the mod.

@ringle, I am also having that issue, and I have never even downloaded this mod.
I came here seeing if I could download it to fix that issue. I am unable to load genepacks into a caravan or sell them unless they were outside of a bank and on the floor, in a storage space, or in a storage container.
Safe for me to assume that issue is NOT from this mod, as I have no mod that changes the vanilla genebanks active, nor have I had any ever downloaded

Great mod! However, I have been having an issue where I can't sell or load the genepacks from the larger genebanks without manually ejecting and then moving them into a storage zone or the vanilla genebank.

Great addition, just letting you know that the 'name' node in About.xml says "Exapnded" instead of "Expanded", literally unplayable.

Can say it is addable mid game as long as you dont have other mods that touch the gene bank simply rolling the 4x base gene banks to 8x modded ones.

Is the 2x1 gene bank the vanilla one with updated storage or is it a separate item?
