It's fine if it takes a while, I love this game and it's awesome to see people still making mods for it!

@Jiro Dragonheart Thank you very much 🙏 😊 I am but updates are slow at the moment due to lifestuff. I plan to work on mods for wildermyth for a long time if possible, it is kind of my hobby at this point and Wildermyth is really unique. 😊

I have a new big mod and some big updates in the works that I hope to release later in the summer. Wish me luck 😊👍

I hope you are still working on mods. A lot of these look like they are really cool.

Hey there, I added this mod to my game because I love the design of your trees. However the icons aren't working as they should.

This is awesome. Why haven't the devs thought of this?

Thanks for this. The base game for whatever reason left the overland map very drab and lacking the 'charm' of the characters and battle maps. Great job for improving on this.

I'm having graphical issues with this mod. For example, the bridges are not rendering correctly, initiated events (such as scouting) no longer show a loading bar, and the majority of the graphics seem to be clipped off resulting in rendering multiple images (see windmill, scout, etc.). I do like the addition but it's unplayable really. Any way to correct this? See screenshot below:

Added a bug reports section. Please post there if you encounter any problems. I am aware there might be a problem with scrambled sprites but I'm not sure if it is isolated incidents. I would also love to here from people where the mod works flawlessly. :-)

@maxisbestj - I will try and make an image guide- but I will also say this, I noticed even with the fix that some sprites on my other system were pushed out of alignment slightly, so there is clearly something happening between systems, might be resolution or a different setting in the game configs. I have to troubleshoot it some more. I kept it in Alpha because it is the first mod of its kind and things like this can happen. 😊

You wouldnt happen to use a very high or low resolution?

in any case, give me a little time to troubleshoot what the problem could be. I really appreciate your feedback. 😊

Hello, starting to think it might be a me issue in some way. I've redownloaded the game multiple times and made sure to try the base game inbetween to make sure the textures were reset to the normal ones but everything I've tried fails.

...Can you make a video guide or something of the sort? Maybe just a step-by-step with images? I don't know what I'm doing wrong :/

@Maxis Hi, Again!

I managed to recreate the problem you faced on my PC, only my textures where completely jumbled - I am not sure it is a universal problem, but I fixed it by including the world.png file in the mod. It is an image that is a output of where sprites should be loaded, something that the atlas file should have taken care of, or so I thought.

In any case I have uploaded a new version of the mod with the world.png file now, so please try and subscribe again as soon as the mod has been cleared for update by steam, and it should work.

Sorry for the inconveniance, and thank you very much for reporting the problem. :-)

I hope it will work for you now!

It didn't work, I'm on pc (windows) and I didn't get the option to merge the folders, instead assumed you meant the replace option which was there, and now there's no terrain at all save for a very broken bridge texture and unicolor tiles.

Oh alright I'll test it right now, thanks!
Dandy_Lime  [author] 17 Jan, 2024 @ 5:22am
No problem. :-) I have updated the installation instructions. These below are for Windows. Let me know if it works out for you!

1. On Windows
Go to your library in steam. Right click on Wildermyth > Select Manage > Select 'Browse Local Files'
_________________
2. Then subscribe to the mod and locate the mod folder in this location on you pc or mac(steam/steamapps/workshop/763890/3140041525)

On Windows
In the folder '3140041525' simply copy the asset folder directly into your Wildermyth folder selecting yes to merge when prompted. Open your game and play!

I'm not used to manual installations and I don't think there's an asset folder outside of the wildermyth folder. What do you mean by merge and override and where can I find the asset folder? Sorry and thanks in advance!
Dandy_Lime  [author] 17 Jan, 2024 @ 4:25am
no need to create any folders 😊
Dandy_Lime  [author] 17 Jan, 2024 @ 4:24am
@Hi, Maxis, Fix it by veryfying easily 😊

I will take a look at the installation instructions, made them a little fast I admit.

If you are on windows just copy the asset folder into your wildermyth folder and merge and override 😊

let me know if you still cant make it work
MaxisbestJ 17 Jan, 2024 @ 4:16am
Uhhhh so I hope you see this before my previous comments, do NOT follow my instructions following "I'm noticing that there's no world folder", broke the game. Fixing it with the backup.
MaxisbestJ 17 Jan, 2024 @ 4:13am
Oh nevermind, for any of you that are as stupid as me, the assets files and folders mentioned in step 2 of the instructions are in Wildermyth/assets/world

I'm noticing that there's no world folder inside the already existing world folder so I think I'll put the aforementioned files in world.png to create a folder? I hope that's the correct way
MaxisbestJ 17 Jan, 2024 @ 4:06am
Where do I find "LandOfWonder"? checking the files but I can't find it :steamsad:
Visuals in the pictures look great though, looking forward to playing with the mod.
