Any chances on an update to the mod? The turrets "lack" the autofire pin when the mod is enabled.

It may sound like that but I can assure you, the sound effects were totally isolated! It may sound that way because of the effects I added in (such as the coils resetting) or because of the post processing from Barotrauma itself. There is one shot in particular that sounds fine alone but sounds spliced when used in Barotrauma. I might go back and fix that one sound in particular someday when I have more time... Other than the one coil gun sound, did you have any in mind?

tbh i like the effort but you prob need better source material since it sounds recorded/spliced (you can find online cod bo3, mw, halo source files with impact and tail separated into stems)

Based on how this mod and how Soundproof Walls works, there should be no issues.

Released an update that should fix the errors in the console and apply the sound changes to the wrecked turret variants!

There is a mod (Meaningful Upgrades) where the rate of fire can be improved a little, hence my question.
Would you be so kind as to include wrecked guns?
There is no sound and here is an error message that there is no sound for the corresponding wreck gun.
I Like to play with rebuilt wrecks, without using the original ships, only found wrecks.

The game needs a shipyard, with the possibility of dismantling and recycling wrecks, or salvaging and rebuilding them, without having to use the editor and buy a new ship as if it were a series ship. But maybe that's just only my playing style. :)

The sub I use has a 12 second reload on its fixed railgun, and the fire/reload sound from this makes it sound so good

The sound not overlapping is apart of the default game itself. Presumably because the railgun was never meant to fire that fast or because the overlapping sounds would be very loud and unpleasant. I believe I have removed this delay but Barotrauma has a funny way of doing things so I am not sure if this will affect anything else. Please let me know if something breaks!

Why doesn't the railgun sound play when it fires faster than 5,000? With all other guns the sound can overlap, not with the railgun. What is that about? Can this be fixed?

That's the point. I listened to the sounds from the mod folder, and they are really different from what it sounds like in the game. Everything is fine with the sound of the shot. But it is the sound of spinning up and loading from vanilla.

I checked this with mods disabled, leaving only lua. The result is the same.

I don't think so, I personally replaced them. If you go into the game files steamapps/common/Barotrauma/Items/Weapons and the mod files in steamapps/workshop/content/602960/1705996444 you should be able to compare the sounds and hear the differences if you are interested

The sound of a spinning chaingun is vanilla. The same goes for the pulse laser charging sound.

Lots of error reports on console, other than that, great mod. I love the "Autoloader mechanism" sound, great immersion. Could be even greater, if there was a uncompressed sound effects for each gun when it is not submerged or when viewed in freecam. Cheers!
