I wouldn't know any specifics as I am not involved in the development of the framework sorry. Not sure if Jixxed has something to say about this but I don't think he gets notified for this thread. Maybe try the modding discord for question regarding the plugin.

I have tested two versions of server, one under AMP and the other under windows and neither offers me p2p and I want to keep the server mode so that everyone can play and I have another mod under stationeersmod that works.

The StationeersMods plugin currently does not work on a dedicated server... or so I have been told. Steam P2P however might work.

Hello, I can't get it to run from a private server even though Belpnex and stationeersmods
is installed.

Works fine here.
What kind of errors are you getting?

Appears to be broken after the brutal start update

Wanted to make those air tight at first but decided against that because I figured in most cases they would be used on walls or frames like actual cladding. I want to make some more walls at some point if you are just looking for more wall options.

Any chance that cladding can be air tight, or at least the faces that are solid? I'm guessing that's not how air tight works in the game, but doesn't hurt to ask.

The only issue I am having with this is that the vanilla cladding will still be blocks instead of faces... thus I would I have to copy them into the mod just converted to face placement so we can have those shapes as well.

Alternatively you can suggest any shape you would like to see and I can whip up models for it.
(would be less work intensive while still in line with vanilla cladding)
You can post a picture of your cladding situation in the discord modding channel so it is easier to see for me what the desired shape might be.

My thinking was that the game already allows multiple face cladding in a single cell, so if all cladding is derived from face cladding then you should be able to place up to 6 shapes in the one cell even without creative freedom.
I can never get the rotation right to single axis rotation might make it easier.

Hey there cows... sounds like a pretty good idea. Will give this a shot and play test a bit.
They will be restricted to a single rotational axis per face but it would be an upgrade.

Ideally we would use creative freedom mod for overlapping structures but the game checks for double placement and removes those structures when the save is loaded. Gonna ask Kastuk, the creative freedom mod developer, if it is possible to exempt cladding class from that check. This way we could use his mod for ultimate cladding freedom.

Some of the cladding occupies the cell meaning only one can be placed, while others occupy faces and multiple shapes can be placed in the one cell. is it possible to make all of the shapes snap to a face so that multiple shapes can be overlapped in the cell to make any junction of shapes from the simple shapes, or is there more to it?

Ah sorry yes I see... I have been debating myself over those for a while when I modeled them. The issue at hand was that I would have to include two different versions in order to match this bevel for both sides of built-in angled piece. Figured this would make the kit overcrowded but maybe I will still pop it in at some point.
Daddio519 10 Feb, 2024 @ 7:59am
Sorry for the typos..."the" not "thr", "top" not "tip".
Daddio519 10 Feb, 2024 @ 7:57am
I was commenting more along thr lines of the angled piece. If you notice one edge of the built-in angle piece is pointy whereas the other is beveled. If you place it up against a frame that has a floor grid on top of it, for example, you could use the pointy edge so that it is flush with the tip of the floor grid. On a 'naked' frame, however, you might prefer to use the beveled edge because the pointy edge would stick out above the frame.
WIKUS  [author] 3 Feb, 2024 @ 11:08am
This is intentional. The reason for this is that claddings can be placed "outside and inside" a grid cell. If you place the original square panels around a frame you will notice the same kind of gap on the edges.
Daddio519 3 Feb, 2024 @ 8:54am
The dimensions of some of the new cladding shapes do not match up with the built-in ones. In particular, I used the flat triangle shape against the side of the built-in angled one and it was short by small amount.
