Updated for v1.55.
Added new cool tower and windrower cargos as oversize cargo.
ØnYx  [author] 3 May @ 6:36am
The mod has finally been updated for v1.54. Because of the new cargo system, I had to rebuild the mod from the ground up. Some cargo is no longer oversized or needed (like the railroad ties). Thanks for your patience! If you find any problems with this new version, please let me know.
ØnYx  [author] 27 Mar @ 10:33am
With the new way cargo is loaded onto the trailers, this mod is currently broken. I will try to adapt the mod to the new system, but it might take a while. Please be patient.

Yes! Everything is now ok;!
Thank you for the hint to the lazy updating on steam.
ØnYx  [author] 30 Nov, 2024 @ 2:19am
@Hickox, can you try to resubscribe to the mod? Steam is sometimes slow to update mods. On my end, the issue seems to be fixed.
Hickox 29 Nov, 2024 @ 10:41pm
Sorry, but I cannot confirm success of the update, problem is still the same
The easiest way to check it is to browse with the function /catalog/trailer index/flatbed...
ØnYx  [author] 29 Nov, 2024 @ 9:36am
The texture issue with flatbed trailers is now fixed. If you find any other problems, please let me know.
ØnYx  [author] 28 Nov, 2024 @ 10:46am
@Hickox, thanks for reporting the issue. I will fix it in the next few days.
Hickox 28 Nov, 2024 @ 9:34am
Conflicts with some loads for flatbed trailers (pink chassis!).
Please update to 1.53.

@Rafreaky187 thanks for your kind words! I'm glad to hear you enjoy my mods.
Rafreaky187 9 Oct, 2024 @ 8:25am
I appreciate you keeping your mod updated and the new "Service at Companies is solid!
ØnYx  [author] 10 Sep, 2024 @ 6:14am
Updated for v1.51. Added the square baler, because SCS decided it's no longer oversize, despite no change to the model.

@Zero_CN_Reaper, the school bus is included because of the width of the mirrors. In reality, they would be folded, as you say, but SCS didn't do this here so it's technically too wide.
=PgT= Zero_CN_Reaper 10 Jul, 2024 @ 3:07pm
I'm guessing the school bus is on the oversize list because it's on a step deck and is more height related.
Haulers will either fold the mirrors in or leave them as is, however the mirrors stick out the same as the tractor truck hauling it.

If it were a Lowboy load, which I don't think it is in the game, but height wouldn't be an issue.
I'm positive the school bus would fit on the 2 axle RGN Lowboy if it was a 53 ft trailer, but I think it's actually a 48 ft, and the 3 axle is 53 ft in-game.

I mostly use the 2 axle though, but I also have the in-game weight restriction removed on two Lowboys, so i am not limited on what i can haul on them.

There are step-deck loads in the game I wish i could haul on the Lowboy instead.

Thanks a lot - working - will try it out for me -
big thanks again for your mods and the work about it.
Best regards

@Desperado, thanks for noticing that error. I forgot to add the link when I was updating the description with the recent update. You can find the Service at Companies mod here: https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=326773

Hello @ØnYx ,
when i search for your "Service at Companies" mod, i didn´t find it - there comes a fail on the browser, did not exist....
Is there any solution?
Because it sounds good & i see a vid on youtube, there was a link to, think this mod, but it didn´t work too for me, very unfortunally.
Best regards

Here are the details I can remember:
It happened in a small not owned garage (Topeka) with the truck only. It was wildly thrown across the yard and at the end it came to standstill cross before the doors.
I will not image what would happen with a trailer coupled.
For my point of view a garage is not a suitable service point due to the very limited space.
Please check the "popular request" for that and clarify, that in consequence a quick travel is not longer possible.
Regards
ØnYx  [author] 11 Jun, 2024 @ 8:58am
@Hickox thanks for your feedback. Quick travels are random and based on the closest service point to the city's definition. There isn't much I can do about this. I added the service point to garages as it was a popular request on the forum. Does the damage occur because of the fence that's behind it in small garages? I will take a look at it and might place the service point differently if this is the case.
Hickox 11 Jun, 2024 @ 12:29am
Thanks again. Especially for the updated map "Service at Companies".
But I got problems (damage of truck and trailers) with this map when using the "quick travel" option jumping to a garage (seems to be randomly picked up), especially when not owned.
From my point of view, service at garages is totally unnecessary and even hazardous.
Regards

ty for the update!
ØnYx  [author] 20 May, 2024 @ 11:53am
@Hickox, thanks. Yeah the mod was working in v1.50, but there were some small issues that are now fixed with the newest update. I haven't looked at owned trailers yet and how the trailer adjust works, but I might take a look when I feel like working on this mod again in the future.
Hickox 16 May, 2024 @ 1:30am
Great work! Works fine also on version 1.5xx.
Is it possible to exttend it to the cargo market with owned trailers using the "trailer adjust" feature (F7)?
Marcus 16 Mar, 2024 @ 11:49am
great, thanks

Thank you so much ØnYx, this mod has been needed for such a long time. :letsgo::twopointcured:

Better immersion, thanks for your work and sharing.

kl thanks

@CrimePusher, an economy reset will generate a new freight market. Sometimes old cargos are still cached in the savegame and are thus not affected by mod changes. The cargo weights are the same as in the vanilla game. I didn't touch them.
Kool Gaming 22 Jan, 2024 @ 11:14am
@ØnYx
what happen when you do a economy reset tho?
and what loads weight are we talking about ?
ØnYx  [author] 22 Jan, 2024 @ 8:57am
@Thudball LeStudd, thanks! I hope you enjoy the mod. Thanks to your comment, I'm currently looking into adding strobe lights to the trailers.
Thudball LeStudd 22 Jan, 2024 @ 8:38am
OK. Thanks for your prompt reply. Looking forward to trying this out. Either way, I'll be sending you some points for your great work. 👍
ØnYx  [author] 21 Jan, 2024 @ 9:43am
@Thudball LeStudd, no there shouldn't be any conflict with this mod as it only adds the customizations to ownable lowboy trailers. My mod changes the trailers in the freight market.
ØnYx  [author] 20 Jan, 2024 @ 12:44pm
@Thudball LeStudd, could you link me the mod? Then I can take a look. But most likely they will conflict, if the other mod adds these lights to the trailer model.
Thudball LeStudd 20 Jan, 2024 @ 12:25pm
I use another mod so my flat trailers have the orange flashing lights on the rear top bumper area. Since I din't notice any warning lights on yours, will this cause a mod conflict if I install yours?
GT182 19 Jan, 2024 @ 4:22pm
Anything that fits inside the edges of the trailer's sides, rear, and front, and isn't over height, isn't an Oversize Load. I know that from my trucking days.
Numjro 19 Jan, 2024 @ 1:04pm
That's fine lol
ØnYx  [author] 19 Jan, 2024 @ 7:01am
@Dakota The Hox!, no, sorry. That isn't something I'm interested in.
Numjro 18 Jan, 2024 @ 2:07pm
Could you make a Road Train sign?
ØnYx  [author] 18 Jan, 2024 @ 8:24am
@YaBoyDwayne, they probably didn't transport them like the cargo you see in the game (which is probably unrealistic anyway, since they would normally be dismantled first). But as it is in the game, it would require oversize signage because it's too wide for the trailer.
YaBoyDwayne 18 Jan, 2024 @ 7:56am
I work for the railroad and I also grew up in the trucking industry, I don't think I've ever seen the rail trucks have over sized signage on them. We get them pretty regularly at my work.
