it won't launch for some reason and i put STEAMMOD=3142454764 STEAMMOD=1397421866 this in and it loads the main opening screen then crashes

Hi all,
hot fix for all the ones getting crashes, who just want to have massive battles and infinite limits in space.

What to do:
1. Go to your AOTR mod files for me it’s:
G:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\32470\1397421866\Data\XML
2. In the XML folder find the FACTIONS.xml file (open it with notepad).
3. Search for the parameter: <Space_Tactical_Unit_Cap> (by default it will be set to 220).
4. Enter the limit cap value of your choice. (I tested 520 and it works fine so far).
5. Repeat this 5-6 times as the parameter is listed several times in the file (for each faction).
6. Save the changes and launch the game!

Now enjoy those massive battles with 20 capital ships and more - as long as the game and your pc can run it.

I'm tight on free time due to my upcoming exams so I wont be updating the mod anytime soon.
The mod is relatively easy to do.
Find the AOTR files in your steamapps -> workshop -> content -> {AOTR mod id}
copy them somewhere else and follow these guides:

I highly recommend using Notepad++ for the bulk replacement of variables.
It took me about 3-4 hours even tough I've never even seen the workshop uploader or EAW code before.

The AI is too strong at the beginning of the game and attacks three planets with 2-3 isd and 6 at-st units (difficulty: normal):steamsad:

The persistent wreckage and bodies are working but the infinite unit cap isn't. Could we maybe get a fix for this?

Dont do land battles. I tried that. Never got it working without crashes.

I won't make one with an increased land cap as well, because it would require me to edit a multitude of the files I did for these two mods and since I'm not too versed in every mechanic vanilla and modded EAW has, there's a big chance that I'd mess up something in the process.

Another reason is that I've read that if you were to finish a ground battle with more friendly units alive than the planet has slots for, it will break or at least crash the game.

Hey JKH you would honestly be better off messing with the units rather than the ground pop cap cause it would not be as buggy on the galactic map. i mean 20 would be fun cause i would go full arty and mass infantry waves haha.
