works great! combiner arrows from the sink at the cooked pot, regular grabber pulling from it
feidragonlover 13 Sep, 2024 @ 7:40pm
Worked fine yesterday, today loaded same save and it isn't working. Grabbers grab the pot before water can be added or dumped. Tried removing/adding mod, no change. help!

in plate up discord modded discussions there is a link to what mods work and do not. this one is listed as working.
Donut Wizard 29 Aug, 2024 @ 4:44pm
does this mod work with 1.2?
Arkandos 16 Jun, 2024 @ 10:32am
Yes seems to work, thanks so much for the mod. But how do I automate emptying the water into the sink?
IcedMilo  [author] 16 Jun, 2024 @ 7:18am
Has always worked. Still works. *shrug*
As with previous comment further down:

You are either not on PlateUp v1.1.9, or don't have have the mod dependencies (PreferenceSystem)

Does this mod work now? Or still broken?
cheli0s 1 May, 2024 @ 9:10pm
game wont load with mod on =(
αησмαℓу 27 Apr, 2024 @ 5:06am
It won't load in the Loaded Mods list, I've also tried playing it with someone else but it didn't work when we played, otherwise, it sounds like an amazing addition and makes the most sense.

An absolute requirement with spaghetti, it just makes sense!

Makes much more sense, thanks .

is there a way that we need to heat up the tomatosoupe ?
it is kinda grose to serve cold tomato
Tekcor 22 Feb, 2024 @ 10:11am
Would you consider making it an option to not empty the water at all? Commercial kitchens don't discard the water until the end of the day.
Chimerat 22 Feb, 2024 @ 8:32am
Thank you. The vanilla version makes zero sense.

I"m not sure what happened but after downloading this mod, i'm unable to play the game now. the game launches, but after hitting A/P, it just goes blank.
Rie Winters 20 Feb, 2024 @ 6:17pm
Thank you for this mod! But is there a way to fully automate it? Do I use a portioner for the water?
Skimmer 20 Feb, 2024 @ 4:50pm
Anyone else unable to launch the game after this mod?
RillaboomMaster 18 Feb, 2024 @ 9:14am
This is so much more realistic than dumping it into the trash can
sennaul 17 Feb, 2024 @ 10:13pm
thanks
Meldiron 17 Feb, 2024 @ 6:38am
I agree, the vanilla recipe is done the way it is for balance. While this mod makes much more sense, it makes the recipe much easier than it is intended to be.
IcedMilo  [author] 17 Feb, 2024 @ 1:02am
@Clone For one, I think vanilla recipe is not only acceptable, but great. The mod is a gameplay option for those who want it, not a "fix" for what some think is bad design.
Klone 16 Feb, 2024 @ 11:02pm
Thanks Milo. I could not believe how they thought the vanilla recipe was acceptable to add to the game.
Meldiron 15 Feb, 2024 @ 8:24am
Thank you Milo!
OrcaPod22 14 Feb, 2024 @ 5:34pm
@IcedMilo yes I do, thank you! I didn't realize they were interacting that way.
IcedMilo  [author] 14 Feb, 2024 @ 4:10pm
@OrcaGrace you have Cakes for Dinner mod
nidodson 14 Feb, 2024 @ 3:58pm
Milo, you are awesome.
OrcaPod22 14 Feb, 2024 @ 10:06am
If you use the portion trigger when dumping water into the sink AND there is already a clean plate in the sink, you get a 3rd portion of pasta from the pot while draining water. You can also get a 3rd portion of Bolognese if you are really quick about portioning onto a plate right after it cooks. Not sure how much of this is intended, caused by the mod, or just in the base game.
Brexcy 13 Feb, 2024 @ 1:53pm
Yea this mod is great cause it makes way more sense to dump the water into a sink like a normal person instead of throwing it away into the trash can
IcedMilo  [author] 13 Feb, 2024 @ 5:10am
Oh yea, forgot about that. It is very hacky afterall. Magic spring doesn't exist in the base game, so I'm not too concerned about finding an alternative.
Tigrium 13 Feb, 2024 @ 4:12am
A Magic Spring is also able to interact with it. So just having a Magic Spring near the Hob will automatically remove the water and add it after it's emptied.
IcedMilo  [author] 11 Feb, 2024 @ 8:01am
1. This oversimplifies the recipe, bringing it below its target difficulty.
2. Not everything in the game MUST be automatable. PlateUp is a rougelite. Play the game how you want, but not expect the game to fit how you want to play it.
3. The solution that makes this possible is extremely specific and hacky. This is not a feature the game supports in its current state.
spiralGREEN 11 Feb, 2024 @ 7:18am
i truely dont understand why this isnt just how it works in vanilla
