Still, 10/10, its really a great work.
A storage room for gold might be a nice addition. When I last played this game the whole gold thing was pretty useless and bugged, so I didn't bother. If it's useful/fixed when I play again then I'll add a nice gold vault as well :).
@everyone: if people want to see more modular building blocks, let me know what you need/want and I'll try to add them.
As for your comment earlier today about a more modular office, perhaps use a rental property, in addition to a blueprint. The mod I normally start with lets you slowly rent rooms throughout the building until you're frustrated with the manufacturing capacity and need to find somewhere to build. Fixing that would be nice! I really liked moving to the new building, spent a couple hours setting it up just how I wanted it, but that was enough that I only actually played for an hour after.
Regarding the jump from starter office to the big office: often in multiplayer people rush to a few million in a few years in a office more or less the size of the starting office, before moving to a bigger office and hiring fixed teams and stuff.
But that being said, a medium sized 'in-between' office so to speak might not be a bad idea to add. That fits a slower/chiller play style as well. I'll think about it and might add it in the next few weeks :). Then people can go from starter office -> some modular upgrades -> medium office building -> fully modular big 24x24 office building.
And about the team size: I guess this is personal taste mostly. I like teams of the size 8/16 (which I see fairly often), but I have also seen people use 10/20. In theory you can add 2 desks per room, for 10 desks per worker room. But I didn't like that aesthetically speaking and wanted to keep the size 24x24.
Thanks for your feedback :).
I kinda use it to learn while playing with my friends. So its maybe on my side, why i find it hard to jump from starter to the big one (just was able to get 1a,2a,3a and a canteen so far.)
I also find it hard to work with teams of 8, but i guess thats a proven concept and it just takes a while until i get there.
Thank you!
Servers start out on tables and slowly evolve to single square servers and then go to double square servers. For printing it's even worse because the first two versions are placed on the belts while the last version is placed next to it (on both sides ideally).
The blueprints are created with the final version of each item in mind. So the latest printer and latest server will fit perfectly in the blueprint. I added screenshots of their final setup :).
Either way, I was able to watch a couple of tutorial videos to get printing setup, and your blueprint made it easy to get there.
Thanks again.
One question: when I place the blueprints, big servers and big printing machines aren't included (presumably because they aren't unlocked). Is there a way to replace those with the smaller versions of those items in the build screen, or do I have to do it manually after construction?
@Flare_Corran: haha yes the basement is the first 'floor'. The complete building blueprints should default to floor 0 (basement is -1) so you can rotate the blueprints based on the front door. Do you think I should clarify this somewhere?
If this doesn't work there may be some other problem. Let me know if it worked!
