Any chance of a desktop 4K version? I'd love to have this on my computer all the time. Or maybe a Wallpaper Engine file.

This is a beautiful skybox!

I think either of those would be good. I just figured a lot of cruise missiles are small grid, so it would be nice if they could outrun large grid ships.

@SJ_Omega thx man, i would say yes it is possible but i im not sure to update this version, may i publish a new one. how fast should it be ? i think its actually 180m/s maybe 200?

I really like the way you changed the interface highlight. I also like that it comes with a speed limit update. Is there a way to configure the speed limit so small grid ships are faster than large grid?

:(

@dRuPl unfortunately this is a limitation of spacescape, especially the point stars are just pixels in that program, so there is no chance to get them "round"

for that high-res you want other tools are necessary which i dont own.

can u make 16 or 32k ? the stars still look pixely when u zoom in

alright, what i can say is if you have oceans with ice texture the skybox will lighten the complete area because of mirroring the bright parts of it (blue nebula for e.g).
i tested another planet (Moun from Paradise) and its is complete Dark at night.

So it also depends which Planet you use.

anyways, thx for the feedabck :-)

Much better ambient light levels overall from the previous version. Night on planets are still illuminated well enough to have full visibility, but no longer glowing purple. I suppose it's about equivalent to what vanilla light levels would be at night, I think I'm just biased by using a darker skybox normally and not being able to see at all at night without lights.

Overall this looks great and is a nice improvement from the last version!
