[B41 / B42] Split Items

In case anyone is coming here from suddenly not having their split item and not finding the other one (that i think was updated while this one wasnt), the folder of the old one is 3386561719 and its version will show as 0.0.6 in the mod manager. go to your subscribed mods list and unsub to it

I tried your mod but something seems not working correctly.

First of all, I can't see mod options in the game options.

Second, I got this error :

Could you make the pre-selected inventory be the currently opened container?

If possible, this would make the mod much more convenient by removing the need for manually selecting the container you want to move thing to every time.

For example:
If you want to move things from your character inventory to the floor or a vehicle trunk, you simply leave that container open and then use the "Split items" action, select the amount and click split.

But if i want to move things to a different container then the one you have opened, you could then select it manually on the "Select the inventory you want to move" box.

Also, the default option if no container is opened could be Character main inventory (if you are grabbing something) and Floor (if you are dropping something).

Isn't this the same as transfer any amount or does it allow multiple stacks of same item in inventory?

Would you be able to add compatibility for rename everything so containers have the changed name for proper sorting. love the mod BTW this is so good.

@IDK Thanks for your attention. But, did you mean version 0.0.4? The current newest release, which is 0.0.3, still has basically the same issue as before, as far as Inventory Tetris is concerned: When the items are not stacked, no right-click menu for Split Item shows up. On the other hand, with version 0.0.1, unstacked muliple items of the same type can be moved all together to another container because right click on even unstacked single item brings up Split Item menu option by which you can move that type of items to another container.

For Inventory Tetris users, Split Items used to solve one of the big problems of Inventory Tetris mod, which is you cannot select and move multiple items, and what made matters even worse, Inventory Tetris cannot do well with stacking the same type of items like pears, peaches, etc. It was really pain in the ass to pick one item at a time and move to the other bag, which made this game more like a chore rather than " a game". But, with Split Items multiple items could be moved to a different container like a magic as long as the items are the same type. It was good until its version 0.01, released on the 26th of January. After the following update, this feature did not work anymore. I downloaded and installed the older version from Github site and it is working back! I think that old feature for splitting unstakable items should remain in the future releases.
