I think this is the first time someone actually amazed me with a mod and it's assets - this also may be my first comment on steam workshop thats not a bug report :D

At first, I just thought this were some nice quality assets with good looking textures, models and reticles but then, when playing in the arsenal, I noticed how the glass of the Romeo 4T and the T2 didn't allow me to see the arsenal tracers. This is normally a case with magnified optics and that told me something more is going on. That's when I started experimenting with the camera and discovered the reason.

This may not be a big thing, but man, the fact that you guys have simulated eye relief (is that what its called?) on 1x magnification optics is such a huge attention to detail - I don't think I have ever seen something like this in this game. Huge props to whoever had this idea and whoever designed it, I can only wish every mod had this quality.

The error message is from CBA and not us, not much we can do about that. I tried reaching out to them about it and that didn't get far. Flipping the thermal once or twice before using it seems to avoid the crash, as we're not the ones who made the PiP system it's a little out of our control it seems. We have more setups planned, so clip on LPVOs with red dots is very likely.

I got error message using all lpvos.
It's annoying but I can still use most of them without any problem, but there's a chance that it will crash you game if you try to flip ur thermal while ads, meaning you have to right click and flip your thermal and then right click again to avoid that.

I have a screenshot of the error but not really sure how to send it to you.


On top of that, any chance we can have the thermal with red dot and magnifier at the same time?

I'm not sure, the optics are added to CBA joint optics. Whether or not the CDLCs have compats for them is not something I know.

Is this a bug that some RIS-capable weapons from CDLCs can't use these scopes?

Example: SLR, XMS, Galat, Velko R4/R5 from WS; C7 from GM.

Tested with just DLCS, CBA and TOTT Optics.

@MattyIce thanks for looking at it. From a "realism" stand point, the zero shouldn't change. I could see setting the unmagnified optic zero to 200 as well, although 50 will give you the same basic zero for up close and distance (ie, the 50m/200m zero that is commonly used).

@ye_mao we will not be changing the zoom limits, you can edit it yourself in the config by setting the opticsZoomMin to 0.25 and opticsZoomMax to 1.25.

It looks like the zero changes on some of the Eotechs with magnifiers. It will change between 200m when magnified and 100m when flipped down. Thanks for the update!!!

When I equipped LPVO in the editor, I got a warning message like this:

yeah i just noticed its that way with almost all the scopes, maybe making the end of the crosshairs less thick would help make it less jarring overall when it happens. I only looks bad on a couple of the scopes

@FreemanFreak, the LPVOs use CBA PiP. Make sure you have PiP on as well as the PiP enabled in addon options under cba.
