they could give sniper an smg that was a giant untextured block with the only stat being a 36% damage bonus and i would still advocate for it because i fucking hate the shields

Even if they won't end up being used by Valve, the community at large will absolutely use them; whether it's a weapon mod or being hex'd for Gmod & SFM users.
