yeah it's also crashing for me, and im also on mac. it wants tmodloader v2024.1.3.0 and I have v2024.11.3.2

tried loading on most recent tModLoader update and it had an error message and closed the game. (i tried with no other mods... same problem) (i'm on macOS 15.2 if that helps)

add a setting to disable the ability for it to show the distance between players

Can you add an option to turn off the background music reduction? It's constantly on in my world with my 3 friends for some reason, and the low music doesn't sound right. I'd rather just listen to my friends and the bg music if they're loud enough

Good evening everyone, and welcome back. After testing, results show that when the Terraria Ambience mod is on, the mics do not work. When the mod is off, the mics work. Case closed.

Sadly, me and my friend's mic do not work with this mod.

the game will not let you save and exit with this mod enabled would recommend but not until the issue is fixed

There is a current bug where save and quit does not work.

The reason the desync occurs on open mic mode is because it's constantly transmitting, in future I will likely implement a system that only sends your voice if you're speaking, in order to fix the desync.

@Honey thanks for the comment! Right now the main way to address delay is by using the push to talk mode. Alternatively, you can also switch off your mic, wait ~10 seconds (or however long the delay is), then turn it back on.

Incredible mod. I really love how it pairs with the ambiance mod as well. The reverb in caves, or difficulty in hearing your friends while underwater is hilarious. Its one big flaw is the delay, however. If all my friends restart our game and make sure to set it to High priority, it will work for about 30 minutes. The delay slowly increases until it's around 5 seconds or more. Really hope this is something you can fix, but I suspect that it may just be a terraria connection issue. If it is fixable, best of luck!

unfortunately, this mod does not support mac. i doubt it ever will either. the way it's programmed it would require me to compile it for mac in a way that is too cost and time intensive

Please allow the dial in control panel to be like...something easier to use. I don't even know if I'm changing anything with it. It's kinda a mess.
