Hey, I've been enjoying this mod again recently and realized that while Wet Ones and their Trooper variant can be recruited in uw forts, no commanders, not even scouts, can be. And the nation can't build uw forts either. Perhaps a Wet One commander of some kind and a bronze-armored version of the Legion Battlemage and/or merman/triton Slave Mage and Slave Priest would be suitable? (Could just take the R'lyeh ones and redo their descriptions.) For the scout I'm sure it's fine if it's exactly the same scout Malgartha already has.

Anyway, thank you for your many fine mods.

Oh, also: forgot about this earlier, but Balog's description states that he can have extra bodyguards. He isn't able to, though. His description also mentions an onyx necklace given to him for "a fate averted," which sounds like it could plausibly be related to the bodyguard thing, if you wanted. Since the "warning" command evidently only applies to items, you could make the necklace one and attach his extra bodyguard capacity to it.

The hero Basalt Tongue (Speaker of the Legion) has an error in his description. In the last sentence, it misnames him as Obsidian Eye, who is the guy from EA Agartha whose job he stole.

Also not sure why Balog the Emperor costs upkeep, since the other heroes in the mod, and most heroes in general, do not.

@psdoffer Huh, seems now a holly level automatically adds the holy tag. that is indeed cool, did not know that was changed. Thanks for sharing this ! But yeah, a slave priest would fit better

I didn't do much modding, and none at all in dom6, but someone else did do a random h1 on not sacred mage and it doesn't seem to crash anything.

@psdoffer -the formation fighter worked a bit weird in Dom5 at least, so I just learned to put always the size of the unit itself there. Also not sure how it interacts with different units of different sizes. Might need to dig a bit deeper into the mechanic there.
- the slave Centurion should be just better for slaves, might have messed up the calculation there
- that is probably a good idea. Having just a H1 everywhere would be fine. You can have a H random but your unit needs to be holy. The game crashes otherwise. And battle mages are definitely not holy
-regarding the olm slaver, yeah I got the same comment on discord:) never noticed it myself as I just used the colour pallet from the lead shield, so for me was just lead armor
-for the emissaries, yep forgot to update itemslots to dom6 standard, will get that fixed.

Just noticed: Emmisaries of the legion have really weird slots - instead of armor, boots and misc slots they have three bow slots.
And they have a head slot, which I don't think they are supposed to have (since they have an obsidian helm that is supposed to be never removed).

BTW: the Olm Slave retainer in his black armor looks like a fat guy in spandex sex suit, which is absolutely hilarious please for the love of pantakrator under no circumstances change it.

Hi, love your mods and this one especially is a cool idea!

Few bugs/other problems:
-Legionaries have formation fighter 4, they only need 2 to work together and it doesn't really provide anything. If Ancient One also had formation fighter 4 it would allow him to stand side by side with his younger cousins (which I suspect was intended).
-Slave legion centurion doesn't provide anything and is strictly worse in every way compared to pale one centurion. I understand you wanted him to be dedicted slave leader, but he gives the same morale to slaves as centurion while giving worse morale to normal troops. Change inspirational -2, slave master +2 or way reduce price.
-There are no normal national priests at all except the capital only guys. Add slave priest maybe? Or you could add a chance to random holy magic for legion battlemages. It is really weird for a nation to have no priests recruitable outside capitol.

In the description it reads, "With the knowledge and power granted to them by the Agarthans reformed into an Empire. The Olms and some Oracles ,..."

@Ddraig Lleuad I mean he does have a head technically, it is just pure gold. I did not know about that piece of fluff for Phlegra, very nice. I'll add a bit of description as to how the pale ones are not scared of crossbows due to their tower shields and hit points. Always like to have my nations fleshed out, thanks for that.

Wouldn't have to be a head item slot, maybe an extra misc slot with a cursed item.

As far as crossbows go, you *could* make that argument about LA Phlegra, but that's a) LA, when crossbows are more widespread, and b) acknowledged in the lore blurb for the unit; "Since humans cannot compete with the strength of the cyclopes there are no qualms about giving them good arms."

Meanwhile in MA you get things like the implication that MA Ulm has crossbows because it's also in the middle of a burgeoning civil war, where various Ulmite lords would really like to have a way of defeating all the blacksteel their rivals have.

Like it's not a *flaw* as such, I just think it's a missed opportunity to flesh the nation out at the price of a sentence or two of flavour text.

@Bippopotamus thanks! Alar is definitely getting a port and a big update that I was planning for Dom 5 but didn't finish on time

@Morm All roads lead to Eldregate, Malgartha is just on the way.

@Ddraig Lluead unfortunately can't separate body and head protection. Possibly I could make him a Troglodyte (so no head hitbox) but give him a head item slot. The crossbows should be OK as most of the Malgarthan legionaries have tower shields. Also the same argument could be made about LA Phlegra.

Very interesting! A couple of suggestions;

If Ogon's head is made of gold, he should perhaps have a higher protection rating on his head,like natural ironskin there.

The existence of slave crossbows is maybe a bit under-explored. Given that Agartha's armies trend towards poor stats but heavy armour, giving the slaves armour-piercing bolts seems like a risky move. I'd suggest either converting them to regular archers and reframing their role as a reaction to swift-moving surfacer skirmishes, or if you keep them as crossbows, add some lore about how the Malgarthan overseers square the circle of giving poorly-treated slaves a perfect weapon for revolt.

Your mods are all so good. I used to really love Alar, Dreams of Tartarus for Dom5, are you planning on porting it to 6?
