Remove this:
"Patch"
{
include "materials/models/shared/swords.vmt"
insert
Replace "Patch" with "VertexLitGeneric" and that should fix. Reason it doesn't work well is due to a missing shared vmt that the sword vmt searches for. Hope this helps a little bit.
They probably didn't know how to make materials.
Need to read the tags at the top: Universe = Blade Symphony.
nice. but... not done yet. it's patch materials? cool for the presentation in mdlviewer would be: the center correct. it's off. and you gotta rotate it. like one hands it over. that's style. and it's a proper rotation axis to look at it and make a cut. not like an axe or kendo. it could have more details on the grip. a lil less on the guard. sheath on it with a switchable bodygroup and a seperate bone. and it's a sfm showpiece. for animation in sfm and proper presentation you need to have a release and sheath animation with their bones coupled. and some attachments for hands for rigging. and the sword tip for the rotation to get it to sheath. you know ?!? ;)
could you finalize it? would be cool. :)
that will hopefully fix any issues.
bring us more well crafted swords!
or is it a reskin of an existing thing
or....
i'll probably use it in something warframe related :V
