"Solar panels are now useless." you don't need the mod for that xD

Bro killed the sun. I'm gonna use this mod now. Your description blurb was so funny, like and favorite just for the delivery!

Perhaps my graphics setting is causing the issue. I've shared a screen cap on my profile of what I'm seeing. Above the cross-hair is a faint orange-ish circle. That's why I said you changed the color of the sun.

I do agree with you that the mod is working a intended. If anything I'm just being OCD about it. The only other thing that I can think of is my machine is nearing 10 years in age. Older systems might be causing the odd issue.

@Alpha 6 Tested it and it appears to work correctly on my machine. I'm not sure what could be interfering on yours if it's the only mod.

Published the world.
"Demo World for Testing"

If you want to publish your test world and send me a link, I can take a look. It's hard to guess what's happening unless I can reproduce it.

Last I saw solar was 100% dead. I've not tried solar in space but aside from light in the storm there no power in the panels.
Echthros  [author] 9 Feb, 2024 @ 4:19pm
@Alpha 6 Are you able to get any power out of solar panels? If you are it might mean the code in the mod isn't running.

In vanilla with only no sun on the sun shows as a super faint mostly transparent orange ball.

I'm seeing it on earth. It shows up as a really dark orange. I only noticed it because I was seeing shadows under the trees while I was messing with the weather settings. It could be messing with my skybox mod. I'm using "realistic skybox" by Elsephire. I'll open a vanilla world to see if it was the skybox or if it was one of my mods.

I also noticed the clouds on modded worlds are pure white but that's probably something outside your control.

@Alpha 6 The sun shouldn't be drawn at all, dark or otherwise. Are you seeing it on a planet or in space?

I'll take a look at the weather issue.
Alpha 6 8 Feb, 2024 @ 2:01pm
Visually it looks like you colored the sun a darker color.
Also noticed a bug. If there is weather the sky lights up like day. I've not tried all the types of weather but so far there is light with all the types I've tried.
Echthros  [author] 8 Feb, 2024 @ 12:08pm
@Alpha 6 It doesn't remove all ambient light. There are other mods to reduce/modify ambient light that this should be compatible with. This gets rid of the sun image, directional sunlight, sun lens flare, atmospheric glow, and cloud glow.
Alpha 6 8 Feb, 2024 @ 9:29am
Does this just remove the sun or does it also remove the ambient light from the skybox?
Echthros  [author] 7 Feb, 2024 @ 12:02pm
@Sardaukai It should be. It doesn't make any permanent changes.
Sardaukai 7 Feb, 2024 @ 3:19am
Could be used for an event.
Is it save to add and remove later?

@hotdogbun64 Glad to hear it!
