I plan to make a drinking mod at some point that would add a new need. Water and other drinks would be split from relaxation and eating benefits. Would probably add more drinks too like fruit juice...

Found the problem indeed regarding eating only at 5%, should be fixed now.

The Korea Player also has such issue and his reply (translate to English) is
"I always use it with a grateful heart for providing good mods. While playing a new game, I subscribed to a water-related mod and discovered that people don't eat until they are below 5% satiety. As a result of testing by canceling all the subscribed modes one by one, the mode returned to normal after canceling the mode. There is the same report below... I'm telling you because I think you should know."
Your mod is good but I consider it can not be use for most of the players now.
Easy to test on 10 min trying! 1) Save a game w/o any mods, 2) Exit and turn on the water/hygiene mods, 3) reload the game to play.... you will find "don't eat until <5%"

@wind, I'm trying my best but without logs or to reproduce it myself I can't do much. As you may have noticed there was a comment saying my last update fixed some issues.

Manual water pumps don't actually require pipes. The thing is that I would need to make a model for the well and decided I would only use made by me... but I'm getting better at it so maybe at some point but too many other ideas too

Any chance to add Well that would requiore stone and wood ? This would be more immersive that Manual Water Pumps because Manual Water Pumps still required to be connected to pipes.
Also just simple wooden cabin toilet that would required wood. Please

You don't get my point, the old version is work for me but new one is failed. I don't know if it is must for new update to fix what problem? However, you change/modify the mod then it is not work for my saved game or new start. Something must be difference..... And I also try the version of simple Chinese "hygiene", it work on eating but do not wash automatically (some feedback also point out it). I consider you have some parameter in your computer to let the mod work. But they (some parameters) does not upload to net/stream... And I need to point out is "eat and wash" issue happened at the same time. Old version do not have such problem! Other need to emphasize is "they can drink water" (automatically ---> relax item) but do not eat. So it must conflict between relax and eat. Or upload the old version mod again, Haha..... Such modify impact all saved games....I try almost 6 saved game already. "Water" mod is high suspected to be an issue that need further fix, not hygiene!

Sorry but no idea what may happening. They are eating as before normal regardless the hygiene...
Any chance you may have set them to work only schedule? Note that for hygiene to work on it's own before it gets to zero they need to be allowed to relax.
Better send me the logs if you can.

I consider the update is automatically, right!? Because I play the game without problems
even with some other mods together on 4/3~4/5.....But I found the saved game had some issues (no eat....) after dinner. Please image it how terrible to me, haha!

So bad! I try it again but it still failed. I setup the Mod as only two "water, hygiene".
Exit the game and reload. Then start a new on guardians (try simple chinese and english language). Same situation on <5% for eating. Can you test it with exit/reload/start....
Or what I need to add for your Mods to be functional!? Thanks!

항상 좋은 모드를 제공 해주셔서 감사한 마음으로 사용 하고 있습니다. 이번에 새로운 게임을 하면서 물 관련 모드를 구독했는데 사람들이 포만감 5% 이하가 될 때까지 식사를 하지 않는 것을 발견 했습니다. 구독중인 전체 모드를 하나씩 취소하면서 테스트 해 본 결과 해당 모드를 취소하면 다시 정상적으로 돌아왔습니다. 아래 동일한 제보가 있내요..알고 있으셔야 할 듯 해서 말씀 드려요.

Your mod is dead after the update. I try the new start with Water/Hygiene (two mods) only. People don't eat until <5% (original is 60%) hungry and wash until 0%...... Original saved game also was destroyed as same situation. Ii is not normal and very bad to me. .... (I try it on crash and guardian game!)

Love your mods. I've just stuck with Water, Hygiene, and Toilets for now. Every now and again I get an error message that says a behavior has failed, it doesn't impact gameplay right away but I've noticed survivors tend to get caught in a loop between using a toilet and doing whatever they were doing - to the point where they do neither. It's fixable when you manually order a survivor to do something but the behavior tends to get more and more pronounced over time.

so, done more extensive testing for longer periods, the first wave is always in the teens, but later are around 4-8, slowly growing in strength as normal for the 1st year, no idea why the change each time as I only grew the colony, not sure if a patch you did filtered through or if its a qwerk of the game(Seems most likely) but it appears to only be the first wave, which although tough, it is manageable (Not 50+ like it used to be). I'll keep you informed of any new developments, once again, cheers for all your work.

Indeed building latrines and the pump early on, as anything else, can increase the spawn numbers but I don't think much more than the resources used for them

Aye I have (also, to be clear I love your mods, and appreciate your commitment), tried same seed, different seed, with pump and latrine...However, I did build them initially and attempt to deconstructed them before aggressive animals spawns but they still spawned in the same numbers, so I suspect its pre-decided based on your highest value, not current. I had same items as before but got different numbers, one at 12, one at 18 again and one at 15. Keeping it small I have the basic camp, 2 shelters, 4 sleeping spots, research table, 5 furnaces, Latrine & Pump and storage. allowed for rapid (ish) testing with some consistency. I did do a run without the pump but still had the Latrine and weirdly got a lot more out of the shuttle salvage? not sure if related but worth keeping note. BUT I still got large attacks of 17+ so I think it may be the Toilets/Hygene mods (Also, correction to my 1st comment, it was 5 days not three, my bad)

I'm still getting the same issue, day 3, 18 bug spawn in, only mods I have are Water, Hygiene, and toilets, playing on Medium difficulty, I used to get just 2/3 bugs at this point, not 18, I do wish the Devs would give tools like seeing Value to help us identify this easier, but I guess they have their own plans to focus on

Actually it is very possible that is this mod. The water I added to the pump and sinks is seen as "progress" which makes the attacks harder.
I'm on it hopefully will find a good solution or a workaround asap.

Before the update of their mod everything was also good, I don't mean 680 insects:))) Now it's 680 in the 3rd day (chaos moon) but also with Concordia it's min 660 insects, somewhere their water mod touches the spawns!

I made an update for the Hygiene mod, and got confirmation from Convert that it looks fine now. Check that the hygiene mod shows version 2.02-something. As far as I can tell the things should have been fixed in 2.01 but as I seen in Convert's log, for some unknown reason, the mod didn't update automatically...

Hey Lukeh, I did start a new game when I messaged you but the problem I had was that when I build the hand pump, you cant wash, like you could in your hygiene mod. At the start of a game you need to wash until you build a house with running power or you will always have the dirty debuff. The new water mod only supplies a hand pump that produces water.

Hello, my characters don't automatically shower, I have observed that when I set their day schedule all the way to relaxed, they get dirty and also sometimes walk to the showers, but they just stand there, don't undress and don't shower, then after a while they leave again but it doesn't clear the debuffs. may I ask why is this?

The hand pump from this mod does not allow people to wash themselves so they are constantly receiving dirty debuff. This also seems to cause a message which states that there is a problem with mods. Never had this problem with your hygiene mod until you made it dependant on this mod. Um can you advise lukeh?

Very nice mod! Not only the resource is usable, but sellable too! And this is the issue to almost all the mods that create resources, recipes and food: the people don't use or eat, and the object doesn't appear in the trading goods list. Congrats!!!

The shower doesn't need to be in the same room, just in the same "house".
There may be all kind of issues as you disabled the mod. I would recommend starting from a save where the hygiene mod was not removed and just add this one.

Same result. The toon would walk to the shower and then walk away like it had no permission or something.

Then I started thinking what could cause that. A short list came to mind and I started testing the most obvious. I de-constructed the two wall panels separating the boiler from the interior of the bedroom.

Viola! The shower works! The water is hot! The toon is clean and happy!

So the boiler must now be in the same physical room as the shower, which is really no big.

Fantastic mods though. I'm loving 'em.

Ok, I fixed the problem.

Previously, before the water mod, I could and would put the water boilers in their own separate, yet adjoined water closet, enclosed as it were in a two square grid with a door attached to repair. The shower would be placed on the interior of the adjoining room. And everything worked just fine.

So what I did was uninstall this mod, uninstall the hygiene mod, and then reinstalled first the water mod and THEN the hygiene mod. When I reloaded, I enabled both mods and took a look. The first thing I did was build a water pump and get the New Resource: Water. Then I noticed I had a new Research project, Sanitation. 12 hours. So I put a toon on that and completed that. I got new items that I hadn't seen before. A sink. So I built a sink and tested it. A-okay. Then I built a boiler, in the adjoining water closet....again, no problems. So I built a shower and went to test it.

Did you save the game after that dependency warning message without getting the water mod first?

What was weird is that when I loaded the saved game without the water mod, the hygiene mod said 'dependency missing', meaning the water mod, even though the saved game pre-dated the creation of the water mod. The boilers and showers were still there, but in pixel form only. Clicking on them would produce a window with no title or name for the item, but still list it's integrity, etc. And the shower action would still show for the toon when manually instructed to shower, but they would walk to the shower and then walk away.
