@RatKing ッ, @Ires: Sounds like we need to do another update pass on the submarines.

@Okonolek: It was never part of this pack. It's only part of Hungry Europans.

@sneaky: We didn't make these submarines. It's a collection of community-made submarines which we updated and made compatible with the listed mods. The original designs and balancing was not done by us and we don't want to change it to keep the original ideas the authors had in mind.

idk why u decide to balance like half ur subs by just making it so they dont have a gunner so that the periscopes are dotted around everywhere.
its a bad way of balancing a sub and no fun

Did the bulker abyss scout T2 sub get removed? I can't seem to find it on the sub list in game.

Likho airlock doors are repaired with welding tools and not wrenches, weirdly enough.

The bottom Airlock door on the LIKHO cannot be repaired. plz fix i like the sub ;-;
P.S. it can be fixed at the chief mechanic on stations...

@pootis8432: It's just all the submarines from the original "Community Curated Subs" pack, but they've been adjusted to work with the listed mods without the players having to adjust these submarines themselves.

what exactly does this mod do? is it a list of separate ships that are compatible with those mods? if it alters the other mods ships then how? an actual description would be helpful

Hey just curious if anyone was looking at the Hierophant by chance; I think the OG page got an update as the depth charge tube is slightly bugged and embedded in the actual ship resulting in some unfortunate ship detonations in the process

But yeah you don't necessarily require the listed mods. Items from mods you're missing will simply be removed by the game with a one-time error message when loading the submarine for the first time.

i assume you don't need all of the mods to use this patch, right? i mean, i want to try enhanced reactors at some point, but i'm just a fan of Hungry Europans cause i like the cooking and brewing in the game.

@dommygutman: I haven't added the toothpick and haven't taken a look at it or what's been modified. Aspen was working on that one so he might've forgotten to put a toilet or the design just doesn't really allow for it as I think it was extremely small. So it might just be in here to be on par with the other versions of this submarine pack, but may not feature all of the things from the mods.

Does that mean I have to make the toilet myself? because I ended up leaking on the floor of the toothpick, and if playing in the beginning sometimes you don't have enough resources to built a toilet, or it could be my mod-pack making the resources difficult.

@ButtERR: I just updated the submarines to be compatible with the mods and they already were from another itteration of the pack by Aspen who updated them for the latest game version from the original sub pack that was long abandoned and which put all those subs together and named the pack "Community Curated Sub" so we didn't choose the name, we only added onto it.
I so far have not had issues with performance yet, but I haven't actively played with all of them yet either. If I or Aspen find the time, we may optimize the worst ones a bit, hopefully without ruining their intended appearance and functionality...

@ButtERR: Performance is different for every submarine. Generally the more components and decorations it has, the less performance you will have during gameplay. Best example would be the Bickborg II submarine on the workshop. Very detailed and great looking submarine with nice systems to toggle and play with, but performance is horrible compared to vanilla submarines, especially when playing a modded campaign which further reduced the performance.

i have no idea why, but subs are A LOT laggier than vanilla.
RTX4060 and i5 12400 perspective: 120fps

GTX1660Ti and i5 10300H perspective: 15fps

@JustKyo: Adds required pre-placed items like air filters to oxygen generators for Immersive Repairs, Fuel Rod Crate Shelf for Enhanced Reactors and the surgery table for Neurotrauma.

In what way does this change the subs to make them compatible with immersive repairs and neurotrauma?

(I'm a bit curious about enhanced reactors too but it probably just adds showers and stuff)

@joyce manor enjoyer: Should technically work. It will just throw a few harmless errors about missing items once and the game will then just remove those missing items and that should be it. After saving the game, the errors will no longer appear for that submarine and will only happen once again after switching to another submarine that also makes use of these missing items.

As for Neurotrauma, the author and community so far always referred to it as NT and all the add-on mods are also called "NT -Modname-" so I just continue to refer to it as NT instead of just N
